Need a romantic getaway once COVID-19 is under control? This rustic tiny cabin in Canada on your own private pond looks like the perfect place to unplug.

This little one-room cabin measures 13 x 10.5 feet and has a bedroom loft or a futon with an air mattress if you don’t like ladders. The best part, in my opinion, is the wood burning stove. There’s a composting toilet for #1 inside the cabin, but a three-minute walk from the cabin is a lovely Victorian home with a full kitchen and luxurious bathroom you are welcome to. Twinkle lights make everything better!

This is the main — or only — room in the cabin. So cozy.

Here’s a little spot to make and sip your morning coffee.

Look at that woodland view out the window.

They have all kinds of toys for both summer and winter pond sports.

Wood-burning stoves are where it’s at! Nothing cozier.

Here’s the ladder to the loft bedroom.

Here’s the perfect romantic bedroom — just don’t bump your head!

Or if you’d rather, the futon and air mattress are another choice.

There’s a little kitchenette in the cabin, but you have access to a full kitchen in the Victorian down the road.

This feels very Thoreau.

And this is the Victorian with the kitchen and luxurious bathroom facilities! A three-minute walk from the cabin.

    It’s cute but I checked and it is almost $200 a night and that just seems pretty high when it doesn’t even have a bathroom.
