Airstreams are such beautiful RVs, and it’s always great to see a vintage one given a new life! The original owners did a DIY conversion of this Airstream and have been using it as an Airbnb.
Some of the original elements, like the burnt orange countertops, stove, and kitchen sink are still intact. The original awning is also tucked inside! But there are new faucets where needed, shiny LVP flooring, and other great updates to make it comfortable. What do you think of Airstreams?

Bed frame and mattressAll electrical works perfectly, shower updated and sealed, refurbished original items such as kitchen sink, stove, and some storage areas keep the vintage vibe of this trailer intact. The curved windows on BOTH front and back of this trailer are a rare and unique feature of this model. Commonly airstreams only have rounded windows in the front, if at all. More windows provide beautiful light and keep it feeling spacious. It also makes if feel more like you’re in a submarine or space ship! Original awning (vibey brown/yellow/orange stripes) is in perfect condition too.
Includes RV battery and working inverter, propane tanks, leveling jack tool, and all original keys w/ duplicates. Wheel bearings packed right before it was moved to our property. Includes weight distribution hitch system so you can take it and start living your dream right away! We are sad to see it go but we are downsizing to move with our family and cannot take it with us.
The trailer was used as an airbnb and we are open to selling it with all bedding and items so it’s fully ready to rent or live in.

Love it. I love airstreams in general, and this one has some nice original fixtures too — those windows are fantastic! The price tag is a surprise. It shouldn’t last long on the market.
I’m sorry but I’ve been through this page twice and I’m just not seeing where this trailer is at.

Please forgive me for my skepticism here. I’m not trying to be harsh or critical, but are you sure this is an Airstream? There are basic characteristics included in all airstreams, especially vintage ones, that I don’t see here, for instance the word Airstream on the front and back over the windows. That would be a major selling point and picture to include. You also have no window in your door, the windows you do have windows do not seem standard for an airstream, and it looks like you extended the front window curve further than any airstream model I researched and possibly had to lower the metal as a result as there is about an 8″ strip of metal above the front windows that is not pictured in any airstream historic pictures of all their models from 1930s. I’m just saying, include some pics of your whole camper that shows “Airstream” (or Argo as yours may be that model), a closeup of the front windows from two angles, and a picture of the inside of your door so we can better see that it is an Airstream. There is more, but that’s enough for now. I would just like more information. Thanks!
It’s an Argosy, they were basically a lower cost version of the regular Airstream but they were produced by Airstream and are considered part of the Airstream history of products.
Mind, Airstream does occasionally deviate from its iconic design as they occasionally experiment or try to get into different market segments and with its long history this is just one of a couple of such examples. The Nest Fiberglass Airstream being a more recent example.
Thanks James. I meant to type Argosy, but my phone changed it, and I didn’t catch it until too late. After researching, I thought it might be, but I still think the seller could say the Argosy began being produced in 1972, and use that model in his description. He should also know the exact year of his camper from the vin, but thanks for the info.
True, especially as they do mention it on their AirBNB page… “Vintage 28 foot 1976 Argosy Airstream Trailer”…
Also, the year and model of this vintage camper is never mentioned. We just need more info to ascertain if this is a bonified Airstream. Any buyer would want that. I also, do not see certain riveting on the exterior that would be there on an Airstream, so please provide more detailed pictures.
