Cool in like a ’60s sort of way. But hard to image 36 hp engine having enough power to do much in any type of hill country. But it certainly would be the fireside talk amongst those gathered at night in a state park campground here in Florida.
Way cool and a Teardrop trailer that is reasonably aero, most are not, along with the Ghia which is aero too. Since the stock motor was 24hp at the most, I expect this has a much larger one, 50-80hp.
Though even with the 12hp most VWs of that time had, it would still go anywhere, just slower. One of my favorite vehicles was a VW van with a stock 12hp motor and no battery, push started! ;^) Ah to be young again.
