Looking for a tiny home you can buy? Check out this Relax Shack red tiny house on wheels created by Mini Mansions that’s for sale.

This tiny house has a shed-style roof for tall ceilings and plenty of loft space. Despite its name, the house is primarily blue with its vertical bright blue siding and a light grey-blue baseboard around the perimeter of the house. White trim surrounds all the windows and the bright red door.

When you go inside, you’ll find beautiful grey-colored wainscoting on all the walls. In the kitchen, you’ll have butcher block counters, a small refrigerator and a washer/dryer combo unit. Hate ladders? Real steps with a pipe railing lead to the carpeted main loft, which features more pipe railing for safety. The main living space has a beautiful large window, a couch with built-in storage underneath, and a lovely sitting chair. An electric fireplace hides in the nook under the staircase. Like having guests? Have children? The second loft is accessible by ladder and has room for a twin-sized bed. See it all in the video below!

I don’t see a price… I want this for me and my kitties! Just adorable.

Nicely done, nicely priced at $40k. I love: the round-topped window opposite the front door, making the entry feel more home-like; the good-sized closet, which deserves a bravo; the “normal” staircase with 10 steps (!) and a railing, which deserves 2 bravos; the open space under the stairs being opposite the sitting space, which provides a more roomy feel; the window placement, which allows plenty of light without the feeling of living in a fishbowl which plagues many tiny houses; the size of the sleeping loft; and last but not least, the washer dryer. I am not crazy about the decisions made in the kitchen however. The apartment size fridge is a good choice, but the amount of space wasted on the floor to ceiling window on the other side is pretty bad. Moving the washer dryer to this space with a counter and cupboard above would free up space next to the sofa for an eating counter. Or that tiny hotplate could be replaced with a 3/4 stove and range top with an exhaust fan (something every tiny house must have!) and be put in the window space. Lastly I would gladly give up the tiny electric fireplace for a small fold out table and chairs for eating and desk space.

One question…..why is the bathroom window placement so very low?

I like seeing the bath at the opposite end, away from the kitchen.

Some winners and losers on this one:
    Winners
    Loft handrail

    Losers
    Air-conditioner location
    Lost storage space under stair
    No obvious location for eating
No obvious bathroom door shown – pocket door?
Bathroom window location – the window head should have been aligned with the head of the entry door. This would have helped solve the the low bathroom window sill complaint.

I also agree basically nice but lacks storage. I would remove the artificial
Fireplace and try to add possibly some hanging rods or more cabinet space also couldn’t the kitchen use some shelves for storage instead of reaching up into those small rafter like areas to place your spices as mentioned in the video ? The plain area of the ceiling almost looks to be saging but I guess that is an illusion from the video camera lense ? May look nicer if it were painted and also ceilings above lofts painted or another choice of wood similar to the rest of the ceiling. Also, I worry about stability with the style of so many THs looking so tall, narrow, and long .Are many people strapping them down as mobile homes are required in many states, this one is not meant to travel but occasionally move may be ok.

What were they thinking? You can see the toilet from outside the front door. Not cool.
Appreciate that there is an air conditioner but it is very unattractive on the side of the house.
There is much I like about this tiny house but what I don’t like would preclude me purchasing it.

It’s nice in some ways, ok price if it suits you. I would make a bunch of changes, ranging from paint, etc. to major structure issues. I clicked the link to take a better look. The article says there is no bathroom door, and recommends a curtain. Seriously? This is not a good THOW build in my opinion, for many reasons, especially for more than one person. I read a lot about the tiny movement, and Relax Shacks left me with a good impression, until this post. Everyone has bad ideas occasionally.

We put a bifold door to the bathroom since these pictures were taken. The last client who purchased only wanted a curtain so she could move around a bit better in the bathroom.

I would live here in a heartbeat. Add myself some sort of sliding door for the bathroom and boom LOL

Could a client have a stove put in to please his/her wants??

I really like this home. As I watched the video, I anticipated that some people would remark on the under stair fireplace being wasted storage and I just wanted to add my own perceptions about it. Because there is a nice “real” closet and two lofts, for my husband and me there is adequate storage. We don’t keep tons of kitchen stuff, so the full size cabinets there are fine too. The washer/dryer is a must for us, but that has a place already too. The fireplace IS the draw for us. It makes this space feel like a real home and since we will be living in the mountains, it’s a feature I can see us really using a lot for quiet, romantic evenings. I really love it!
As noted above in comments, the builder has added a bathroom door, so it’s pretty darn near perfect for us now, as is.
One of the wonderful things about the tiny movement is that there is remarkable flexibility in use and execution. For me, limited storage makes me mindful of keeping and buying less. For others, under stair storage is a necessity. I love that this movement is really for all of us and the name of the game is customizing the tiny space to suit the individual. I hope the new owners of this house enjoy it for many years to come!
