Ever wanted to live in a vacation spot? This quaint cottage lives in Dennis — a town on Cape Cod where you could live year-round.

Because it’s on a dead-end street you won’t have tons of tourists driving down your road each day, and the private backyard acts as a retreat every day! It’s just over 700 sq. ft. with one bedroom and one bathroom. No lofts or ladders to deal with — a great place to retire! It’s for sale via Trulia for $295,000 (sold).

You walk in on a nicely-sized living room with new laminate flooring.

I love the character of the large molding around the door.

This place even has room for a sectional.

The kitchen includes a dishwasher (a must for me!)

There’s a little breakfast nook and  a door to the backyard.

While the kitchen is a bit out of date, it’s certainly tidy!

A small step up takes you to the full bathroom.

Here’s the kids’ room with bunk beds, but it looks like you could sneak a full bed in here.

Can also double as an office area.

The master bedroom includes a spacious closet.

And plenty of privacy outside the windows.

The full bath is newly renovated and feels fresh.

Outside you have a concrete patio and plenty of green grass.

This lot is stunningly private.

Follow the red brick path home!

It comes with two outbuildings.

What a great place to build a fire and enjoy the evening!

I’m not an American, but that doesn’t look like a Cape Cod building from what I’ve seen over quite a number of years. Am I right or am I wrong?

It’s on Cape Cod 🙂 In a town called Dennis. It’s a pretty traditional style for the area (I live not too far away).

Duh… clunk (sound of head hitting wall)

Must have skimmed the first line a little too fast. Did not pick up on that at all.

I think I need some medication… now where did I put that bottle of Tequila? 🙄

Something else I see that may not be that important in New England, but is *extremely* important here in Tornado Alley–a storm shelter! It’s probably a small cellar used for food storage, but when those sirens go off…any port in a storm (pun intended).

Yes we don’t get too many tornadoes around here, but some decent Nor-Easters for sure.
