So much to love about this tiny house. The railings are beautiful, the big windows for connection to nature and for light. But the downside is that the kitchen is unworkable – just my opinion. I have a very small kitchen, I do dishes as I cook because there isn’t much counter space, but a minimum of counter space is necessary to work efficiently. In this kitchen there isn’t a place for a dish drainer, and in cooking, both the sink and the stove are in use. So where does the cutting board rest while preparing food? Maybe I’m not understanding, maybe there’s something I don’t see here. I do know that I love my tiny kitchen, I call it my cockpit. Everything is in reach and it’s efficient and small.
The bedroom in this TH is amazing, I could imagine spending most of my time in that bed.
Good job on the whole, I do really like Escape’s designs.

Kitchen designs vary, this may have been originally used as a AirBNB and wouldn’t have needed as robust a kitchen for the occasional guest.

But you can get an over sink dish drying rack… Can get a butcher block that can sit over the sink… Or you can replace the table by the window with a movable kitchen island that can also be the dining table (some you can flip the whole table top for dual use)… Not using the stairs while cooking you can also add a fold out counter top extension… So not necessarily unworkable…

You could also get a brand new one quoted here: https://www.escapetraveler.net/one-one-xl

They start at $49,800 so depending on what options you add it could be less to buy it new 🙂

Also, sometimes they have a ONE/ONE XL on sale, too: https://www.escapetraveler.net/sale
