Why the metal grades on the windows in the van ??

Maybe it’s a retired prisoner transport van?

This whole thing is definitely not my style, but whatever floats his boat.

BTW, is the cabin not level, or is it just sloppy photography/editing?

For a photographer as a vocation, the photography of the cabin and area is extremely sloppy, assuming he did it himself. Otherwise, this is what you get with people taking photos that haven’t a clue what they are doing. So, yea, it’s really sloppy photography as well as editing – whomever did the editing probably doesn’t have a clue or software to straighten the photos.

However, with that said, notice in another shot where the ground drops off to the right of the cabin. If the person taking the photo was standing on hillside and not paying any attention to the dynamics of the photo, you’ll get the impression the cabin is on a tilt. In fact, it is not.

i put gates on all windows/partition for security, most trail head parking is very remote, otherwise having a van is like having a car with no trunk

I like this site however why do you allow insulting comments? “ phatkat” for examples responses to PHOTOGRAPHERS TINY CABIN AND SPRINTER VAN CONVERSION. How about constructive comments posted or objective but leave the sarcastic and hateful out. Just a thought. I am a world traveler and photographer, the photos are fine. The cabin is level! Lighten up.

The second paragraph of my response to someone else who asked the question clarified the ground is not level and that anyone taking a photo from a distance would indeed have difficulty capturing a level photo if they weren’t aware of the dynamics. As a professional photographer, if I’m out an about and there is a chance someone is going to grab one of my photos that I post online, I make darn sure it doesn’t look bad. Otherwise, my business hurts because people get the idea that if I can’t shoot proper photos then what good am I to hire? Just a thought. However, if you go to Brian’s web site (a link is on this page), you’ll find that he shoots mostly people which is by far more difficult than landscape photography. Thus, if he is selling portrait kinds of photography for advertising purposes, he definitely has his act together. It’s unfortunate the photos placed on this page show him in a different perspective.

On another note, it could also be that the photos were intentional to give some pause to just shooting a picture. Brian could have just been having fun. Only Brian can answer that question.
