Stevie sent us pictures of the awesome 8×17 vacation cottage he built from an old playhouse. What was simply a shell, he spent the last 3 years transforming into a fully-livable little home complete with a kitchen, nearby bathhouse (plumbed!), loft bed and comfy sitting area.
I actually see these for sale on Facebook Marketplace pretty frequently. Maybe we should buy one and work on making it into an awesome Airbnb cottage!

Philadelphia Cottage 8×17 with full kitchen, hot and cold running water, stainless steel sink ,stove top dual burners, toaster oven, griddle. Coffee pot, stainless steel refrigerator, microwave oven, plenty of hidden storage, living room, flat screen TV and DVD player, stereo, cozy electric fireplace, air conditioning, twin size loft bed, full queen size futon sofa, covered front porch, flagstone rear patio, separate full bath house with clawfoot tub/shower just a few feet from the cottage, swimming pond with waterfall, all located on gated lush garden grounds along with 1903 stone mansion.
This was a playhouse I bought for $450.00. With nothing but the roof, bear wood walls ,and floor.I spent over 3 years and about 25 thousand dollars converting it into a fully functional, independent living space including a separate fully functioning bath house. There is an entire house neatly fitted into approximately 150 square feet. Very cozy and charming tapestry walls on top of natural wood bead board.
