Here’s a stunning countryside vacation in a converted pepper mill in France. The cylindrical stone cottage features three floors connected by a spiraling staircase.

On the ground level is a kitchenette and dining area, in the center there’s a living space, and the top floor houses the bedroom.

There’s a lovely terrace off the front as well. Book your stay on Airbnb.

Awesome… now if I could just get some of these old bones to work I might just visit. Oh, wait… it’s where?

Looks deceiving from from the exterior, the interior is beautifully crafted – I’m too old for all those stairs but really nicely done.

Could always retrofit with a stair lift chair and/or elevator/lift platform…

It’s always amazing what the French are able to do with very small spaces. If I stayed there I would want to buy it, since it is an area of France that I really like.

The link on the Air BNB does not work; it just links to the main page and Air BNB doesn’t offer the opportunity to put in name, especially when there is NO indication of where the pepper mill IS in France; it’s not a small country.

Hi Monya, This post is from 2021, and it looks like the Pepper Mill is no longer on Airbnb to stay in. I’m sorry! It was a cool place.
