When Lisa was paralyzed at 14, it took a long time for her to find herself doing what she loved again — going outdoors! But eventually, she was able to play basketball at the Paralympian level and even won 6 gold medals during her tenure. A shoulder injury, however, left her lost again and in a lot of pain. Once recovered, she turned to travel.
What started out as a short trip in the back of her car transformed into this amazing van conversion complete with a wheelchair lift, a motorized seat that lifts her to her bed height, and enough aisle room to turn her wheelchair around. Everything inside has been designed accessible so Lisa can travel by herself. You’re going to love the video tour!

Lisa, your van is a beautiful, functional, well thought out space! Great job! We live in a Tiny House, and really like the little fans you have over your bed. I am guessing that they are 12 volt? Do you mind sharing where you purchased them? Also your kitchen countertops are beautiful. What type of finish did you use?

Love your camper. I have been wheelchair bound for over 10 years. I love your cabinets. I’d like a lot more info. I DREAM of someday getting a handicap motorhome and hiring a driver/ caretaker to assist me across our beautiful country and visiting relatives. Staying with them till they had their fill of me than mosying down to the next one. My Tommy and I had a 20 foot motorhome. Loved it. We enjoyed it only 4 1/2 years till he got ill. Enjoy!!! God bless you for showing me it’s still possible.
You are quite an inspiration! I watched your video several days ago, and have thought a lot about it since then. I am past the age of being able to do such things (74), since I have some medical issues which prevent doing so. But your can-do attitude is inspiring, and I wish you well in all of your endeavors!
