This is Dustin Klein and his DIY 2020 ProMaster City van conversion.

He built a stealth tiny house in the 131.7 cubic ft of cargo space in the van. It’s pretty amazing! Have you ever considered a smaller van build like this?

While most people choose #vanlife or #boxtruck life so they can travel the country and get to hard-to-access outdoorsy spots, Jason built out his box truck so he could fly under-the-radar, live in the city, and not pay rent while going to grad school.

From the outside, Jason’s truck looks like another utility truck, complete with a high-viz vest tossed up on the dash. But on the inside, you’d think this was a sleek city apartment with a high price tag! He has a great kitchen and giant desk area — and he’s never gotten a “knock” on his truck door!

This is a stealth and modern Dodge Ram ProMaster van build that’s for sale. It’s designed to be super-stealthy on the outside and ultra-modern on the inside.

The van also features a third seat that could be used as a desk or a place to eat since it has an aerospace-like fold-out table. But this could also make for a nice way to bring an extra person with you on adventures! This “Redwood” diesel van was built by Van Makers and is available for $79,000 with 85,000 miles out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Check it out!

This is a stealthy and RV-certified 28-ft. cargo trailer tiny house. Well, I call it stealth but at this point it’s pretty obvious that it’s an RV since it has added windows. But other than that, one could very well assume it is still some sort of work trailer. Sometimes these are built out with skylight windows for added stealthiness.

I don’t think I have ever come across a cargo-trailer build that is stated to be RV-certified. For some, that may not even matter, but if one ever plans on staying in a campground an RV certification may help increase the odds to be allowed to park and camp onsite with a tiny house like this. So take a look and let us know what you think! Is this a style that you would ever consider?

Rhett traveled the US on his motorcycle for a couple of years before meeting Ashley. He lived with just three backpacks of stuff he could fit on his ride! With Ashley came two adorable dogs, so they upgraded to this amazing box truck which they transformed into a home on a budget.

Ashley calls Rhett a “tinkerer,” saying he loves to see what he can do with the fewest materials possible. You see that clearly in their minimalist build, which includes a stand-up desk on a pulley system and a bed that folds down with some Rhett engineering. The whole home uses recycled materials to make a perfect space for the couple and their dogs.

Deanna and James wanted to travel, so they renovated an adorable vintage camper together. However, they found it difficult to hitch up the camper and tow it from place to place, so they sold the camper and bought a van instead!

Their van allows them stealth and ease of parking, and this fully off-grid rig boasts a Tuscan-inspired aesthetic inside. I love that they included a shower and dry flush toilet in the build, making it a much more COVID-friendly travelling rig.

Unlike many van-lifers, they chose to use the back of the van as a multipurpose bed/office/dining/lounge area, complete with a hidden projector screen. Enjoy the video tour from Tiny Home Tours below!

This 2017 GMC Terrain SUV has been transformed into a super stealthy home, ideal for ski and bike adventuring — and it’s for sale! It doesn’t get much more “micro” than this, but somehow the seller managed to fit a bed, bike storage and a “kitchen” area into this itty bitty home on wheels.

The coolest part? No one will ever suspect you’re living in it, so you can park just about anywhere without trouble. It’s in Meeker, Colorado, and they’re asking $20,000 for the conversion (with 65,000 miles on it). You can contact the seller at ConversionTrader.com.

If you’ve been following Tiny House Talk for any amount of time, you’ve probably seen the handiwork of videographer Travis Cosentino (@travis_travels on Instagram) — he does the filming for Tiny Home Tours, which we show you quite frequently.

But did you know he’s a van-dweller? He’s been living in his stealthy conversion now for about a year, and only spent $5,500 on the build, most of which went to mechanical repairs. He loves meeting like-minded people and sharing their stories, plus he gets to travel all around the country as he interviews.

Travis’ home is wonderfully simple, but he did manage to fit a sneaky toilet into this itty bitty build! Watch the video tour to learn more.
