Nick has been “into” the tiny house movement since it first gained popularity, but it took a while for him to finally take the plunge and start traveling full-time. He began his journey in a larger RV, but hated that he couldn’t get to the more remote spots he wanted to — so he downsized!

He now travels in a pre-owned Ford Econoline with very little stuff. Likewise, he has simple baskets to store food and cleaning supplies, lots of storage under his fixed bed and a handy chest fridge. Check out his simple conversion below.

Courtney and CJ met doing gymnastics, got married, and moved to Washington, D.C. They were happy in their life until 2020 changed the world. They started camping more and more and wanted to keep doing it all the time — some Google searching led them down the van life rabbit hole, and they were hooked!

They settled on a bus conversion and spent the next 6 months taking their short bus and transforming it into a home on wheels. For the past 9 months, they’ve been traveling the country and enjoying the time together and in nature. Check out the video tour below!

Meet Amber and Eli who spent the last four years working on their DIY school bus conversion! They spent one year living in the bus largely unfinished and have finally completed the build and are on a four-month travel stint. When they aren’t on the road, they live stationary at a bus dealership where they work.

They prioritized their kitchen and bathroom above all, and have oodles of counter space, a large stainless sink, a separate fridge, and an extra freezer, and they spared no expense in their shower! Glass tiles, exposed copper pipes, and a glass bowl sink give their shower a spa-like feel.

The Eusebe family lived in a 2,500-square-foot home in Massachusetts but wanted more freedom. Mom is a travel nurse and Dad’s job is remote, so they had the opportunity to move anywhere! They had a home built by Mint Tiny Homes, a version of their Canada Goose model, and now have more disposable income and the chance to live in new places.

The floorplan in this home is incredible, with a split loft for the kids’ bedrooms, another multi-purpose loft, and a private bedroom for the parents over the gooseneck. They have a large bathroom, office space with a telescoping desk, and a cozy living room with a couch-to-bed conversion for guests. What do you like most?

Like so many others, Danielle’s dreams of traveling the world were crushed in 2020, leaving her to find a way to satiate her wanderlust in the United States. So she decided on an RV — a 30-foot Keystone model with a bunk house that she transformed into an all-purpose room to give her a place to work or create that’s separate from the rest of her living space.

She’s made the RV into a cozy apartment, but still has plenty of room for storage, and didn’t have to get rid of her hobbies in order to go tiny. The RV has a full-sized bathroom, a spacious kitchen with a little oven, a large couch, and a “short queen for a short queen.” Let us know what you think!

For the past four years, Brian and Anne have been loving their RV life in a Class A Entegra Aspire motorhome which they have done minimal updates to. The spacious rig is “glamping” for Anne, who told Brian early in their relationship that she would *not* be camping.

The two had enjoyed vacationing on their sailboat for many years and were debating doing that lifestyle full-time, but ultimately Anne admitted that she’d rather stay on land. They work full-time while traveling, but still managed to move 40 times last year, staying around a week in each location they traveled.

Here’s another amazing couple traveling from Alaska to Argentina in their van! Their Panamerican travels are a way to spend more time together and less time traveling away from each other due to work commitments. They quit their jobs and bought a van that had already been built by another DIYer.

Their rig has a nice swivel chair and living room/dinette area, along with a fixed bed in the back of the van. There’s a little shower/toilet area in the middle of the van. They want to upgrade the lighting inside, but they’re already in Mexico and appreciating this journey.

In the past, we’ve seen little churches turned into tiny homes, but this tiny chapel was built specifically as a mobile wedding venue! It was designed for Hitched Traveling Wedding Chapel by Movable Roots as a commercial build.

It’s a minimalist chapel design, with beautiful arched windows, white shiplap, and honey-colored hardwood floors. It would make the perfect venue for an elopement or small, intimate ceremony. What do you think?
