In Quebec, near the small town of Tingwick, you’ll find this incredible treehouse on 15 acres of woodland. The tree house is one of two vacation rentals on the property. The home of the host, and a large “spa” which is a central hang-out space with a kitchen, patio, and other little luxuries also share the acreage.

The treehouse itself has panoramic views of the forest and is a hotel room in the trees, with a large bed, couch, seating for two, and a wood stove for warmth. An outhouse stands at the bottom of the treehouse, and there’s a shared bathhouse near the spa. What do you think?

Treehouses are always cool, but one designed by Pete Nelson of the Treehouse Masters TV show is extra remarkable! Unlike many tree houses you’ll find today, this one is solely supported by the surrounding trees and sways with them. The treehouse is located in Coupeville, Washington. It has a first-floor bedroom and a loft area with a large daybed-like couch that you could also sleep on.

There’s a galley kitchen area with basic appliances (no large oven) and a sitting area that opens up to the porch via big French doors. The large deck has a spot for a hammock and a gas grill. Inside, there’s a bathroom with standard plumbing for a toilet and a full-sized shower stall. Enjoy incredible views and a private spot in the trees.

Anthony and his wife had the great idea to build four fun treehouses in a little town in South Carolina. It took them a long time to find a contractor willing to make their dreams a reality, but now they manage a great “Treeresort”!

Each treehouse is around 400 square feet and has one bedroom on the ground floor and another in the full-standing-height loft. With some clever plumbing, each treehouse boasts a full bathroom and a kitchen with residential appliances. Could you live here?

While many married couples live in large homes with “man caves” or “she sheds,” Elisa and Ryk decided to do away with that and instead live in two tiny homes — one for her and one for him — with a beautiful outdoor living space in between them. Even paying rent for two spots in a tiny house community, they’re still saving compared to the rent they used to pay!

Her home has a bigger kitchen and his house has a dedicated office space for his work. While they sleep in Elisa’s loft bedroom, they watch movies in Ryk’s bed that has more headroom and a large TV. Since they got married later in life, they both had a lot of treasures and can decorate with them as they please in their own spaces! Would this work for you and your other half?

Daymon did a lot of research about other eco retreats and glamping resorts and found the biggest complaint across the board was with the bathhouses. So he determined to win the bathhouse war and make the nicest glamping showers you’ve ever seen! They have endless hot water, multiple shower heads, exposed copper piping, and mirrors, yet still retain a rustic charm with sinks carved out of wood slabs.

Byrd Creek is an amazing glamping resort filled with tiny cabins built from wood, which felled on the property and hewn by a local sawmill. There’s a community kitchen on site as well, and the creek is perfect for tubing!

Michael is an amazing man who has spent the last 30 years building an incredible treehouse resort on his acerage in Oregon. He started with a cabin and horseback-riding, but no one was interested. When he rebuilt the treehouse he had made for his children, however, people started to take interest!

And since then he has added treehouse after treehouse, a number of bathhouses for the homes without plumbing, and an extensive system of suspension bridges. There are even several ziplining courses! Enjoy a tour of the resort below.
