Savannah had dreams on #vanlife but originally was worried about what others would think of her. Thankfully, she decided to outfit her own DIY van after realizing no one was living her life but her!

The “Babe Cave” she built is gorgeous, with a full-sized bed, micro kitchen, and space for her cat and copilot, George. You’ll love the huge drawers that she can access from the back of her van in the garage space.

Blaine loved his life of international travel, but the pandemic shut the world down back in 2020 and he was looking for something to satisfy his wanderlust. When he dove into #vanlife research, he found his niche! His Ford Transit conversion is simple and stealthy and allows him to go just about anywhere.

At 6’3″, he needed to carefully craft his van so he could stand up and fully lay down in his bed — and he succeeded! The interior has a log-cabin vibe, while the exterior has nothing indicating it’s a home and not a work van. Very creative!

The Ruthardt family has done so much over the past decade! They built a mortgage-free tiny house/homestead, sold it, jumped into van life and traveled the country, then purchased this gym space in Oklahoma and transformed in into a living and working space. They are off on yet another adventure and selling their home and business.

The front of the building is their gym, with new equipment purchased in 2020. In the back there’s a whole “tiny home” set up, and in the very back a huge garage with a washer/dryer and workshop space. There’s even a backyard with raised beds! They were paying their mortgage with the gym income, so you might be able to do the same.

Meet Sarah and Trevor and Persephone the Van, their home on the road for over a year and a half. They spent a total of three years on the road, having had another van before that.

While they now own a home and animal rescue, this is the story of their stealth and simple van life. They spent that time traveling the country and finding something upsetting — lots and lots of litter in beautiful spaces. They made it their mission to pick up as much trash as possible and return these natural wonders to their former glory.

They kept their van simple and stealthy, but they found what worked for them! They even took out a large built-in with a farmhouse sink because they never used the sink. The rest of their materials are recycled and reclaimed. Pretty great!

While most people choose #vanlife or #boxtruck life so they can travel the country and get to hard-to-access outdoorsy spots, Jason built out his box truck so he could fly under-the-radar, live in the city, and not pay rent while going to grad school.

From the outside, Jason’s truck looks like another utility truck, complete with a high-viz vest tossed up on the dash. But on the inside, you’d think this was a sleek city apartment with a high price tag! He has a great kitchen and giant desk area — and he’s never gotten a “knock” on his truck door!
