This couple and their dog have been living in this amazing vintage 1964 Avion Trailer. It was a DIY conversion, and Keaton (a woodworker) stripped the RV down to the shell and framing, and completely overhauled the interior.
After spending a few years enjoying this tiny space, the couple is ready to purchase a home and hopes to pass this awesome trailer on to new owners. It’s located in Seattle and they are asking $87,500. Read their conversion story below!

You might remember Rachel and Adam from our interview with them back in 2020. They are an awesome couple who did their own bus renovation and travels with rescue animals — including two bunnies! Well, they contacted us with new pictures since they’ve done some updates to their bus.
This week celebrates four years that the couple has been on the road full-time. They sold their home, got rid of their mortgage, and have enjoyed seeing the country together while working remotely. Enjoy the photos and interview below.

When Chuck mentioned the idea of traveling the country in their renovated RV, Shannon was having none of it. But two weeks later, she fell down the Skoolie YouTube rabbit hole and was completely on board. They ended up selling their home, almost all their stuff, and purchasing their Class A RV completely debt-free!
Their debt-free lifestyle has allowed them to experiment with different online income streams and not work traditional jobs while they explore. They overhauled their RV with a lot of white paint, took out upper cabinets that were in the way, and replaced the couch. What do you think?

Amy was already working remotely when her husband, Kevin, lost his position in the family business he’d been in for 25 years. With their entire life turned upside-down, they chose to buy a motorhome and renovate it so they could travel the U.S.!
Their 18-year-old daughter graduated early so she could join them on the journey and get to see the country with them, and now the three have a “moody” and modern 45-foot rig.
Tiny Home Tours takes us on a walk-through of their house, which you can watch below.

Tyler and Nina are loving their life on the road in their 18‘ 1993 Fleetwood Jamboree Searcher. While the outside remains relatively untouched, they transformed the dank and dingy interior and created a light and bright living space.
Their dinette becomes their couch, and the couple admitted it stays like that most of the time. They also have a bed over the cab for sleeping. Wait until you see the once-yellow shower/toilet area transformed into a magazine-worthy itty bitty bathroom!
Enjoy the video tour and interview with Tiny Home Tours that you can watch below! You can follow the couple on Instagram here.

We’ve been seeing more and more couples and families choose RV conversions for great temporary housing to allow them to travel and save money for a future home. This “temporary tiny” is a great way to learn to live with less and to help people reach their financial goals. Caroline and husband, Daniel, did an amazing job on their 5th wheel conversion!
They were able to buy their RV from the original owners, and then spend about 5 weeks of full-time renovations. While they were previously working seasonally and travelling, they’re now looking for more permanent work and Caroline is growing her photography business.
We got to do a Q&A with the awesome couple, which you can read at the end of the post after a photo tour of their conversion. Follow them on Instagram here.
