Josh and Emily both had remote jobs in the engineering field, so there was nothing holding them back from pursing a nomadic life! They chose a skoolie conversion to allow them to truly customize their rig — and with their engineering experience — they built one of the most incredible buses we’ve seen so far!

A roof raise allowed for ample headspace and enabled them to lift the floors in the back of the bus for more in-floor storage. But it’s their food storage and organization that will make your jaw drop! Everything fits in beautiful glass jars. They even fit two office spaces in the rig — at opposite ends — so they wouldn’t bother each other while working from home. Enjoy the tour below!

You asked for it, and Wilderwise made it! A tiny house with a full second story that pops up when the tiny home is stationary. Once lowered, it can be towed without a special permit, making it a great option for anyone who needs a comfortable bedroom but plans to move often.

To date, your only options for headroom in the bedroom were longer (and often wider) tiny house on wheels with ground-floor bedrooms that required special permits to move. Or maybe a gooseneck trailer. But now you get an easily-movable tiny house on wheels and a full second story. What do you think?

The Milanda tiny house from Baluchon is their latest beautiful build designed for owner, Philippe. Since remote work has become a normal part of his life, he asked for a dedicated office space. They tucked a desk under the staircase and separated it from the rest of the home with a wooden partition.

His bedroom is a loft with two huge windows to let in light. There’s a gorgeous yellow couch downstairs that can become a guest bed, and his kitchen includes a 4-burner stove/oven. Finally, a tiny bathroom with a composting toilet and shower stall takes up the end of the THOW.

Quin lives in his converted ProMaster so that he can get closer to his photography opportunities, but he’s actually on his 7th van conversion now! This box truck conversion was his latest conversion, made for a friend with some pretty lofty ideas. He wanted to levitate through the roof — and with some creative electronics — Quin made that dream come true.

The box truck was designed as a mobile office that transforms into a hotel room at night. As such, there’s a hidden potty, a compact kitchen that tucks away, and modular couches that can be moved onto the pull-out porch. It’s truly an engineering marvel. Enjoy the tour below!
