This is so cute and it is also very roomy looking. I didn’t notice a frig however. The one thing I thought was a bit to small was the shower area. I think I may have forgone the back door for a bigger shower area.

These homes are all custom made. You want a fridge, they’ll put one in. Go to their web site and inquire. You’ll be surprised.

Oh, and if you want a larger shower – I didn’t see one and assume this build doesn’t include an actual shower area. Probably the only way you can shower is to sit down on either the toilet seat or use it while you shower at the same time. Not a bad idea actually.

On the other hand, make the length a bit larger by 3-5 feet and you can then have one nice large shower area. If you can imagine it, they can build it; according to their web site.

Beautiful wood working, but not comfortable.

    • October 29, 2016, 12:59 am

Really? It looks very warm and comfortable to me, especially that little cove bed. I could stay in there for hours with my iPad and watch good movies. I love this tiny house immensely!

Folklore in accordance with history. Processing of very fine wood. Encharting

I love Vardo’s and I am assuming that was the kind of look they were going for here.. I loved almost every thing about the house except the bathroom, and kitchen area. With all they have achieved here with all the beautiful woodwork to fall short there did not do this house justice at all.. I would have added a wood burning stove as well to complete the look within the house, as that heating element looks totally out of place as well.. Oh and one of the door ways there is a few screws pertruding from the wall and should have been covered with some wood molding as well… But other then those few short falls, I loved the house..!

You are correct in your assessment of the majority of Vardo’s , they don’t usually have any plumbing, or very limited plumbing.. But seeing how this builder chose to incorporate a bathroom and full kitchen in it’s design, is only reason as to expect the obvious and complete what they have started… Half measures never avail us nothing…!

I love the shape of the home both inside and outside, it’s very unique!! The woodwork is so rich in color, and the curvature of the wooden arches throughout the home are just beautiful! Love all the windows and the enclosed bedroom, it’s very interesting!! The front door is gorgeous, love all the details, especially the stars!! It looks like a fun place to live and explore your dreams!???

This is so enchanting in every which way! I could see myself living there 24/7 and never wanting to leave. A lot of hard work, love and creativity went into the execution and design. Incredible!

I think this is very cozy! I love all the wood and the arched
“snuggle up with my needlework” area (maybe you’re not familiar with that LOL).

I like everything, cept the weird looking stairs to get up to the loft. IMHO, I think a spiral staircase would be safer.

How much? I think i would change out the blue plastic bucket in the wash room for a pounded copper sink bowl but seriously this is as good as it gets. This is what tiny houses should be, not sheds on wheels.

This is well-crafted and so cozy. One thing I worry about is the size of the windows in the lofts. What if there is a fire and you are in one of them…how do you get out if you can’t exit downstairs? I’d like to climb out from the roof plus a better view of the stars.

Yes a point of egress is certainly important in any tiny house!

It shows that tiny homes have been around for long time already. A bit to rustic for my taste but well thought. Wondering about weight.

It is very elaborate sculptural work, with no few difficulty, deserves much appreciaton. Perhaps is to review the bathroom the tub is only false note.

I usually prefer the sleeker look, but this is pretty perfect, especially the reading/sleeping nook. I probably would never leave that spot! The option of not sleeping in a loft is also a big plus for me.

This one has become my all time favorite! Honestly, when I first started looking for a tiny house I would NEVER have imagined this would be the winning design! I was sure if would be a light interior, contemporary design. But I have loved this home from the first viewing. Now all I have to do is figure out how to afford one! It’s beautiful!

This is fabulous. I’ve been wanting a Vardo style RV for years. Would it be possible to build something along these lines that is towable with a 6cy truck such as a Nissan Frontier or Chevy Avalanche (tow models I am considering.) Love that it works both on and off grid. That’s a must, especially for a traveling home. Beautiful!!

What a skilled man, this unknown craftsman! I’d call him outright the closest match of the skillset of Zyl Vardo, but for me, Zyl’s houses are too much gipsy, while this unknown craftsman gets all the beauty right without that intense gipsy feeling (which isn’t my cuppa).
This house is SO exquisite! I’d love him building me a house.

Very nice! How did you guys do the bowed arches? Are they laminated, or steamed bent wood?

    Thanks
