I am so interested in these shed homes – mostly because I have such a tiny budget and zero building skills! This one apparently sits at around 400sqft but I was unable to find any other measurements. As far as I can tell, this looks to be one of the single story options, though I’m curious because the loft area looks taller than usual, but not tall enough to be a two story Tuff Shed. I wish we had more dimensions on this one – off to see what I can find.

This looks really neat. My biggest concerns are (1) dependability of water and (2) snow and ice, and the impact of weather on accessing the property and (3) the impact of weather on having enough electricity, particularly when there is little to no sun. I read there is “water storage,” but don’t know if water is trucked in or if that is rainwater storage from a cachement system. I imagine it might be difficult to have enough water for irrigation to grow one’s own food, whether outdoors or in a greenhouse, or that water could be undependable or costly.

Rain water catchment, you can see the tank and roof setup right below where the solar panels are located. While this is located in New Mexico, which is right between Arizona and Texas, for an idea of the climate zone it’s in…
