If you check a map, you’ll see that Rhododendron is east of Portland. Now that was easy, wasn’t it?
I forgot…..is the a-frame building an outhouse and a shower?Even if one has to set up a camping type setup for a shower?
I also see what I think is a little fridge, are there solar panels?
I’m an old fashioned girl, would love to cook on the old fashioned wood cook stove.

Rhododendron is located between Portland and Government Camp on Highway 26. It sits on the lower slope of Mt. Hood. Usually not a lot of snow in that area anymore, during the winter. There is a fair amount of rain.

For you folks who are concerned about costs, save my email addy. I have a lot of timbered land that would enjoy hosting some tiny houses and micro cabins. Some kind of lease? In Appalachian E Kentucky, 4 miles from county seat. My driveway is my long dirt road which managed to grow some (strike that, a lot of) timber over the years between my visits. Driveway needs a bit of clearing after which my construction will begin. We can talk.
