New Boho XL Tiny House with Private Bedroom or Open-Concept

This post contains affiliate links.

This is a new Boho XL Tiny House Floor Plan from ESCAPE with a private bedroom on the main floor, or you could choose to go with the other option which is more of an open-concept design. Kind of like a studio.

It’s pretty cool because they’re constantly coming up with new customizations and add-ons for their customers. So which do you like better, the open-concept or the private bedroom? I think I would prefer the open-concept myself. 🙂

The best part of the boho, open plan or private, is that you can actually WALK AROUND the bed to make it or get in and out meaning no more climbing over from one side to reach the other. My present bed is up against a wall on 3 sides and this means simply changing the sheets is a major undertaking, only after fortification from the fancy bottle in my booze cupboard. And this is for a single (twin?) bed. I judge all THs by the ease of bed making, and do I have to use fitted sheets. If so then it’s not for me (and I have had years to come to that conclusion). All else to one side, the boho wins hands down for this simple fact alone.

I think about that ALL THE TIME. I lived in an RV for years and when I see some of the bed situations in TH’s…I’m like…”that’s not gonna work in REAL LIFE.” How many times are you going to climb over someone, wake them up and/or possibly injure them before it’s a problem? 3 days? 😉

There has to be space to walk around, make the bed…freedom to pee.

They both look great. But I like the open floor plan because it makes it seem bigger or more room. But I like this design because it seems to have everything in a simple layout. But you have everything that you need to live in it. Great job. 🙂

I prefer a private bedroom on the main floor, due to my age, but it all depends on the purchasers and their needs.

Open concept is great… if your a hermit or an exhibitionist. As for the rest of us… yup, give us some privacy. Even if we have visitors only once a year. Besides, I’m a messy slob, and really, make a bed? Jeepers haven’t got time or inclination for that nonsense. Outta bed and the duvet stays where it lands until I go back to bed.

Why isn’t anyone doing murphy beds or do the logistics not work?
