Amazing use of space…Bravo!
I first fell in love with the Nest House last year, and had a really hard time waiting for the Nest pod to be developed and built. It was worth the wait! Reminiscent of the original Nest Home in the wood color, that great aqua contrast color, and functionl originality, I can’t help but love the Nest pod. Congratulations Mr Avery, you have another winner!!
Really like this a lot. The way it was designed and looks big. Don’t like that toilet. To gaudy. Unless it is how the pic turned out. I do love it. Inside and the outside. Sorry not trying to be mean. Just the toilet looks huge. 🙂

The Nestpod looks great. There are a lot of great features. The light natural wood color gives it a warm tone.
I do have a question. Not about the house, but how the photos appear. The photos seem to make the shelves look deeper than in real life. The toilet and tub look much longer and narrower as well. Can anyone please explain why this happens in many online photos.
Images look distorted because of use of ‘extreme-wide-angle’ lenses – such as around approx. ’12mm to 20mm’ – no way to get around that, otherwise, in a tight space such as a tiny house, you’d have only half a sink or a third of a counter top length or maybe a piece of a window and the tip of a shelf beside it already filling the image frame, because one cannot step far enough backward to allow capture of more/wider ‘angle-of-view/ field-of-view’ in front of the camera –
And it is simply a characteristic in optical-physics/lens manufacture/optical system of lens-camera-film/sensor that the far edges of a wide-angle capture be come distorted in the projection onto the film/sensor –
One would need to have personal experience with photography or observing plenty enough examples of real-world spaces/rooms compared to their wide-angle-photographs in order to get feel for how much and to what degree a given such image might seem misleading –
