This is Nadia’s Tiny Appalache built for her by La Tiny House in France. The stunning build features one of the best living room arrangements I’ve seen with a partial-loft (plenty of headroom!) with a sectional sofa and a hidden guest room tucked underneath!
The main bedroom is located in the loft, and there’s also a full kitchen and 3/4 bathroom. Nadia chose a tiny house so she could move closer to family, and now she has a place to read books (her passion) and welcome guests.

The best use of a loft I’ve seen. It should be used for day use, not sleeping and what I assume is beds under it where they belong on the ground floor.
Another is a dinette above and bed below using under the seats as standing headroom, bed in center.
Few people sleep in lofts as a pain to go pee in the middle of the night having to wake up too much to navigate the stairs, ladder safely, mostly used for storage after a week or 2 sleeping in one. And hot in summer.
I make 2′ wide 16′ long lofts 6′ high the length of my THs for massive easy to get to storage, it’s best use. I sleep in couch beds saving space for other more needed things..
This is absolutely adorable. I love how both staircases come together and the window and wallpaper. I would love to see more of this one

Excellent design, one can increase the head room below in the sleeping area and decrease the one on the top to 74 or 76 inches at the peak.

I really love this THOW – it’s got everything, and I wouldn’t change a thing! I love the seafoam and raw wood colors too. Could I live there? Absolutely, positively, in a heartbeat. No kitty door though please! Nice job Baluchon and Nadia!!

I love tiny houses and slept in a teardrop and a very tiny house (5 x 5) for over a year. I had to move out because of dampness and mold under the mattress. This is going to be an issue with every loft that has a solid floor rather than slats. It’s a design flaw that shows up in nearly every tiny house I’ve seen.
Actually, depends on a number of factors like humidity level, air flow, the type of mattress you use, and a few other factors that can effect conditions the sleep space will be exposed to and not just whether or not it has slats…
For example, high humidity and no air flow would prevent moisture from being drawn away and thus even a bed with slats will still have the conditions to develop mold… Alternatively, having slats instead of solid floor means the loft is open to what’s below and that can be kitchen or bathroom that could put a lot more moisture up under the bed, vs allowing it all to be drawn away by a vent… Among other ways it can actually work out…
Have to think of the home like an eco-system, multiple things often have to work together to get the desired result…
Some very skilled carpentry and original design there. The angled uprights inset into the curved shelves, the loft partitions and the curved base on the loft sectional. Always seem to be great ideas out of Europe. A lot of width taken up by the stair/walkway/storage combo. But, hey, it’s not my house.

Another winner! Love the storage and esp. the light wood. Many special touches — good mini sink in bathroom — just fine kitchen —- just enough! The downstairs bedroom is great — might prefer to sleep there at nite and use the loft for lovely daytime naps or reading! Also love the round window!!
