You’ll have to settle for lovely sunsets from here, Muskegon is on the east side of Lake Michigan, so you will be looking west.

Beautiful, calming set-up and location. What is the square footage?

Ah! Michigan beaches with their white sand are so beautiful! What a lovely house and setting to stay awhile. It’s beautiful!

    Just curious: “Linens not provided”…..?

Is this something new? Have never heard of that at an Airbnb.

I had the same thought, haha. Very odd, but I will say I stayed in an Airbnb during our honeymoon that similarly didn’t provide linens. We drove there so it was ok, but I found it strange. Maybe they just don’t have the facilities to keep up with laundry?

It didn’t mention a washer-dryer in the description but for $ 199.00 / night, I wouldn’t want to have to try and remember to pack linens. Especially if I was flying.

That surprised me too! Can youy imagine not knowing that fact and showing up with no sheets or blankets? Or having to go buy the full size to take with, which you may never use again considering most couples have a queen or king size bed.

Good point, Pam! I wonder if the “linens not provided” also extends to towels and washcloths?

DL That’s a good question. Having to haul all that to stay there, you might as well just go camping!

The picture of the bathroom DID look a bit naked!

Quick visit to airbnb and it says… sheets provided.

      • DL

The owners must have added the bed sheets since Jill’s May, 2019 review. Specifically, “It stunk having to bring our own towels and sheets.”

The lack of towels may still be an issue.

What a beautiful place to stay. I absolutely love the house and I know from experience that lake Michigan is fun to swim in. As long as the weather is warm. Yes this would make for a beautiful vacation.

I guess I notice weird things but what are the white things on the lower walls? There was one in a bedroom too.

Could be wrong, but I think they are radiators.

      • Eric
        December 19, 2020, 9:43 pm

Yes they are radiators… and very expensive to run. So pays to enquire whether that is factored into the price or is charged extra.

    Thank you!

Hi Donna! I’m afraid the listing didn’t mention square footage.

This is very nice. I was born in Michigan. Would like to go there maybe in 2 years since this virus has us on lock down right now. Prison camp. Seriously, I heard it is beautiful where I was born and I want to go there and take pictures and see the town.

It’s a long shot but wondering if the “linens not provided” had anything to do with Covid? Usually prefer to take my own anyway, if driving. Love the downstairs bedrooms.

It is a lovely house and the pictures are nice to look at for inspirational ideas. However, I would not consider staying there solely because linens are not provided. I am not the least bit interested in packing up boxes of sheets, blankets, towels, etc. to go on vacation. Nor am I interested in buying these items upon arrival. I would prefer to stay at a proper hotel to avoid the bother.

Eric already noted that has changed, appears around December, linens are provided now…
