Mountain Shire Hobbit Village w/ Tiny Homes!

This post contains affiliate links.

Welcome to Middle Earth — or at least the Mountain Shire! This awesome Tolkien-loving uncle-and-nephew duo spent the past few years creating a magical village of Hobbit-themed tiny homes in Sevierville, Tennessee where you can book a weekend stay to get away from all the trials of modern life.

There are six different tiny homes on the property, each with a slightly different whimsical theme and custom decor. There’s also an epic cedar-slice wall that blocks off the shire from the outside world! Enjoy the tour of this wonderful spot below.

The bright yellow door on this one is amazing.

Some of the houses were built by Incredible Tiny Homes.

I love the faux greenery on the roof.

Wow! I’m in love! What a lovely, magical, got-to-go-there place. Every home is amazing and the setting is so beautiful. I love the entry wall and the outdoor spaces. What a wonderful world!

Couldn’t see enough of it to know whether I would be interested. After about 30 seconds, an obnoxious, aggressive ad would cover the entire page and I couldn’t see the content. Advertising is fine, but this is obnoxious!

For some reason, I see hobbit homes as playhouses for children. Perfect for a family of gnomes though.

Lots of fun touches on these hobbit homes. I do not care for the fake greenery.

It’s a bit harder to find a builder willing to take this kind of projects on these days, present economy has forced many builders to move away from full custom work. However, you can still find full custom builders, if it’s in your budget to do so, and you’ll just need one who can do custom metal/steel fabrication to make things like the hobbit door… Otherwise, this may need to be a DIY project…
