    this is soooooo nice!!! the only thing I would do different is to put up a partition in front of the bed for privacy.

    Yes to Merrly comment and Id like the controls for the stove on the other side so the burners weren’t so close to the wall.

      The problem with doing that is you’d have to reach over the cookware to turn it off if there is an incident, i.e. if the cooking caught fire (don’t laugh, it happens). That would be a major safety hazard, and you might even find in the instructions that it says to not install with controls against a wall. I know I’ve seen instruction on some appliances here in NZ to that effect.

    I love this. Do you know where i could find plans for this? I live in vermont so I think it would have to have a foundation

      We are in Maine and have our small home on posts that are tarred and PT as well.

    Truly, I hate with a passion corrugated iron (or whatever you call it in the States) used for walls, and most especially inside a house. Looks tacky to me, and cold to boot.

      Is that what that is? on the ceiling you mean Corragted iron? I dislike it very much as well.too many mixtures of wood and patterns for me.all in all a pretty little place.Hard to tell actual sizes of things we the new lens they use to make things appear larger.
