At first glance, this is an attractive tiny house. At second glance, however, it’s obvious this isn’t intended as a home but as a AIRBNB rental. There is no real “living” room, the kitchen is minuscule, there’s no hanging storage. It would be a nice overnight rental but it’s not set up for full-time living.

Actually, it’s the builder’s 2018 showcase home that they take to the conventions/shows to show off their work.

So it’s only for demonstration purposes at the moment and everything is laid out to make it easy for people to walk through it…

Keep in mind that they’re a custom builder so everything can be changed and they’re mainly just showing off what they can do in terms of the quality of their work…

Though, as far as full time living is concerned that depends on the person… What people consider suitable for full time living actually varies quite a bit from people who feel even a 2500 sq ft space is too small for even one person to people who freely choose to live in much smaller spaces with fewer features and amenities than this provides…

Besides, there’s a number of ways to provide functionality that doesn’t have to be openly apparent… Like bed storage space can actually be designed to have the bed lift up and reveal a walk in closet under the bed… Alternatively, upper cabinets can be installed that have pull down hanging bars… Among many other examples where the functionality is simply hidden until it’s actually needed…

In it’s present form this house would be too narrow for my wheelchair, but if it could be modified and with the rear built-in porch , then it might be done. I like the shower and the incinerating toilet . All in all a interesting house.

Storage here would be easy to add just by putting a loft above the bathroom. Chairs, tables etc are easy to add especially as individual needs/wants vary from person to person. The main floor sleeping area is a huge plus but again, a sleeping loft over the bathroom gives you instantly a room for living or working in. Only thing I don’t like were the bathroom tiles, gives me a headache jysdt looking at them. Kitchen is nice though.

I’m sorry, but I just can’t like this very much. It has a few nice touches inside, but overall, it’s like a giant closed in closet. Too claustrophobic for me. I feel like I am in a bigger space in my 5 1/2′ X 9′ tiny house, even after a year and a half. This on is a no for me.
