No couch or anything like that in this tiny house, just a little table instead to gather.

Lots of storage in this tiny house too… You could, of course, have a couch here if you wanted to.

    Nice.
What’s that interior finish? Knotty Pine? Seems like an awfully dark heartwood showing.

The interior is listed as “made entirely of solid pine”….

I think this Tiny House is wonderful. It has everything that a senior like myself needs for living in comfort. Sleeping down, with added loft for grand kids, plus a washer/dryer. I wish for the same someday. Thanks for sharing the tour.

I agree with the set up for a senior or someone that doesn’t want to walk upstairs to their bedroom! Nice kitchen also. Great design What do you use for your water supply? Thanks for sharing!

It’s not always that a person DOESN’T want to walk up to their bedroom (or anywhere else in the house).
Sometimes, it’s that they CAN’T walk up/down stairs.

So who actually built it? I’m not interested in renting it, but like the house.

      It’s a Tumbleweed, specifically their Farallon Alta 26′ model…

Well I like this but would make some changes. I would remove that closet. I would remove the frig, and where the washer/dryer is i would put a under the counter frig there. I would make the back bedroom the living room and put the TV in there. Just my thoughts.

Not to “poo-poo” on your ideas, Maria (if that’s how you like things, that’s fine), but I just wanted to put out there that I appreciate the recent move to larger refer’s and inclusion of washing machines / dryer’s in some of these units.
I never liked the idea of an “apartment fridge” or a cooler in something that you were going to call a “permanent residence”.
Something around 10-15 cu.ft. still doesn’t take up too much space and can hold a few weeks worth of grocery’s.
What I really miss are the washer/dryer combo’s. Not the older style that stack the dryer over the washer, but single side loading machines that both wash and dry the clothes.
I recently looked that up and could hardly find anything about them.
      ….supply and demand, I guess.

I love the versatility of the tiny house. I would actually raise the roof so you could stand up there. I like the idea of a separate living rm where you have the 2nd bedrm. A pull out couch could do both. Is that a utility closet, clothes closet?

Really like it! If I were to get one, I would use kitchen cabinets so I could hang the mirowave. I like the washer/dryer combo. I would look at higher ceiling upstairs so could have a desk. Use pocket doors between areas. Window either side of table area. Like the frig and stove. Really like downstairs bedroom. Would use slightly smaller bathroom sink for more counter space. And a small deck to enjoy outside. Just have to find a place to put it. Thank you.
