As builders, we appreciate the simplicity of utilities outside the interior walls.
As fix-it-ourselves, we appreciate the access to exposed utilities.
As residents, we appreciate exposed interior utilities because they reduce/eliminate insulation gaps.
    And it’s a cool look!

I agree on installing plumbing and wiring outside of exterior walls, however it could be done better. There are components for off wall installations mainly used for bathroom renovation and cable conduits working as skirting at the same time on the market to achieve a better optic.
Otherwise the the design is refreshing among the uniform appearance.

I’m not one that really goes for that commercial look, but it really isn’t that bad….!

Although this TH will appeal to some people, it doesn’t apply to me. Exposed pipes and staring at the sink and stove from my sofa is not the view I want to see. I also don’t see any storage in this home. People need a place to store clothes, toilet paper, and the every day necessities.

I thought the house was really cool BUT can not wrap my brain around a couch in the kitchen!! I do not want to be staring at the sink and stove either!! Would take a much smaller kitchen to has some living space…

    What no cabbage roses?

honestly this one would make me feel like I was waiting at the hair dressers (not my favourite thing by a long stretch), when in fact I was supposed to be relaxing.

I like the exposed piping and conduit. To each his own but it’s in keeping with that industrial vibe. No loft–but lofts should only be used for storage. Maybe something that can be pulled down–like pull down ladders/stairs used for attic access. The entire ceiling can have these for crazy-storage.

I can’t help it I also dislike exposed- and agree couch should never be facing sink/stove/fridge; it’s depressing., and very common.

I hope those slabs on either side of the sink have hidden storage. Where would the canned goods, staples, dishes, pots and pans, dish soap, silverware, dish towels & cleaning supplies go? Where would the pillows, sheets and blanket go during the day? Nothing clever incorporated at all.

This is too modern/industrial for me. It very much reminds me of the basement of a grammar school I once attended long ago.

Not sure how to comment on this one except the coloring of both inside and outside are great but the set up inside, nay! Sorry!
