Love the layout. Be nice if it had slide-outs in the living room area. Needs a bigger TV. How much without the furnishings?

I like the idea of slide outs. He didn’t share the price since it’s just his private home — Tiny House Talk Team

Beautiful home. Like the colors inside and the steps up to the bedroom is a nice touch. Well done. How much?

Can this size be pulled by a F250?

    • Natalie
      November 17, 2016, 9:40 am

It would largely depend on how much it weighs. You might have to ask the seller to make sure — Tiny House Talk Team

I’d check the weight limits with the manufacturer of the truck. It should online. An F250 can pull a lot of load. However, a fully loaded pull that has all your stuff could be a different matter.

I seriously doubt it. Speaking as a former truck mechanic, I’d say you’re likely looking at something closer to an F-550 or a 2800 series International.

Cons: There is a reason why “minimum codes” exist. I know, most tiny homes don’t come close to most codes but if you were at least familiar with them, you would know that the bathroom sink is practically useless. You can’t brush your teeth while leaning over that sink because your head (and arm with the brush) will not fit into the space. You should have saved yourself the money and effort for that one. The IKEA sink (rectangular and about 11″ x 22″) that fits snugly against the wall is in the same category. Try to lean over and spit without hitting your head on the wall (or heaven forbid you put some sort of shelf or cabinet above it!

I know you will need to adjust your, in this case, brushing and/or spitting habits to use this tiny house but a bit more investigation and knowledge about why the particular code exists, even if you won’t follow it exactly should be considered ESPECIALLY if you are building the tiny for someone else who could knock themselves out cold the first time they spit.

    Just sayin’.

Pros: On the other side, this really is a lovely unit. The space is well thought out (except for the bathroom sink). If this were my unit, that sink would end up being the cat’s fresh water dish, so no harm no foul!

This one has refreshing color and needed board siding and seems to tick a LOT of space boxes. It is otherwise well designed.

    • Natalie
      November 17, 2016, 9:42 am

Although I do agree a knowledge of codes is a very good thing, I think there is plenty of room for spitting there, haha. It looks deeper than the camper sink we used to have. And yes, it’s a great house. — Tiny House Talk Team

I agree, Natalie, to each his own spit!

He built it for himself and it worked for him. Unless you are above average size, I can’t see a problem with either sink.

    * beaded board, not “needed”. Sorry, auto correct!

Love the cork floors! I have them in my kitchen, they are priceless!
Warm, soft (no broken dishes, everything bounces) quiet, they would be excellent for a tiny home. They can be lightly sanded and re-stained, also come in a variety of colours, you can put a couple of extra coats of Varathane etc. for increased durability. The cost for a tiny space would be reasonable for a lifetimes’ use. Beautiful colours and durable finishes inside and out in this tiny home! Well done.

Awesome home! So spacious and so livable — even in a Long-lasting bad weather season! Love the bright colors! Definitely could do this one, even with a few steps. I could always sit and scoot up the stairs if it ever comes to that, I guess!

Refreshing design and beautiful colors inside.
Impressive list of materials used and appliances in build.
For THOW above 24′ I would always go for gooseneck.
Wondering why he is selling and what is his asking price?

    • Natalie

    80,000 isn’t high?

    • Eric
      February 13, 2017, 4:42 pm

Nobody said it wasn’t. And, in the whole scheme of things, for what you get it isn’t. Unless you live in some backwater place where you can buy a house with land for $50k or so. Certainly can’t where I live.

Love 5th wheels and love the design of this tiny house! I would probably change the color on the inside, but I love how everything is positioned. I would also have a bigger TV and mount it on the wall and make the windows little bigger above the kitchen sink. I love the kitchen and how they position

If you have had the displeasure of tasting or seeing Mylanta, that is what the color reminds me of… But the curious thing about it is I like it.. Lmao…! I don’t know maybe I am getting stranger in my old age, but I find this house very attractive….! Maybe it’s the little bit of white and boarder of wood that just set’s it all apart for me, But as I said before I like it….!

    • Natalie
      January 19, 2017, 7:12 am

It’s not a color I would have ever chosen, either, but I really like it too!

Can you imagine how much grease and steam from the cooktop will fall on that chair? Not a good place for it and needs air venting.

Very cute, but I’m afraid I wouldn’t be able to use that bathroom sink either. Standing before it my left shoulder would be partially into the shower space! Sometimes I like to wash my face with both hands 🙂

I like the kitchen design. You can cook, put a load in the washer/dryer, and do dishes all in one area. That’s perfect. I also like the separation between the living room and bedroom. You could still fall asleep while someone is in the living room so long as they aren’t too loud, yet you can also chat with someone if you had to run up to the bedroom. Very cool.

An f350 should b able to pull it. It’s got 7500 double axels. How much weight can that support. Love the layout
