I’m usually not at all into the “shabby chic” aesthetic, but this is beautifully done. Almost minimalist in its own way.
Yes! It feels sparce but homey!
I routinely call shabby chic as grubby cheek. I don’t like it. End of story.
But each to their own. Be a boring old world if everything was the same.
Sweet, charming & cozy! Love the chandelier!!
Absolute perfection. My dream home.
Bookmark it for the future!
It’s absolutely lovely! I would enjoy staying in this one for sure, especially where it is located. The outside is as lovely as the inside. Great job!
Someone…..had a heck of a good time decorating this enchanting cottage. Very soothing to the spirit, and I mean every inch of both.

Yes! It is super soothing.
Darling. Cozy. Adorable. But, no way for food prep other than microwave on top of fridge. Maybe I’m missing it.
No, just the microwave and coffee maker… AirBNB type rentals don’t always go much beyond just providing a bed to sleep the night, some do serve meals as part of the service, but for this one it looks like you’re expected to take advantage of the numerous stores and restaurants within a few minutes driving distance.
That’s my impression of this one…just wanted to make sure I wasn’t missing something. For short stays, micro, refrig and coffee maker is all I need anyway.
The second Airbnb link goes to a totally different property.
It’s cute, maybe a little to much cream color. It looks kind of washed out. The only thing I really do not like about the place is the acoustic tiles in the ceiling though. They gotta go!
I think it’s beautiful!! I have a tiny cabin, and I like staying there occasionally, but I’m not sure I could do it full time. I love the size of a cottage (500-800 sqft). It’s little enough to still be small, yet big enough to feel roomy. It’s my dream to one day build a cottage on the property where my tiny cabin is. You are inspiring, thank you!
I love “Shabby Chic” but this one doesn’t quite hit it for me. I would have put some tin tiles on the ceiling and some vintage-y rugs on the floor, and the TV and outdoors area just doesn’t fit right. Something’s missing. Just my two cents.
