I would love to have one of those for traveling around the country, but not for permanent living. Feels too much like a vehicle and less like a house.

That was great reading. Reminded me of my Grandfather an Grandmother, when grandpa retired (in the 60’s) he sold his home much to grandma’s protests and bought a Ford conversion van with a turtle top (pop-up canvas top). No shower and it only had a fold-up portapotty. Grandpa was not happy with the cheapie icebox that came with package, he replace that and hot wired a small VERY small refrigerator to run off 12 volts instead of the old 110 volts from a home. They both lived in that van for about several years an traveled back an fourth from NJ to Florida until the engine gave up the ghost, that’s when he bought a little three room cabin out by a lake … you could say he lived the life right up to the end of his.

A really neat set up; well thought out. I applaud the owner for striking out and being really independent. Thanks for sharing your video tour!

I am very impressed with this van! Something like that would be perfect for me when I begin traveling across the US and Canada in the next year. Everything one would need is in that van with plenty of storage.

You guys are totally exploiting that whole “this white/gold motor home looks blue in the shade!” ???

That is one tidy little setup! Everything you need in an impressive minimum of space.

I’d love something like this for camping…in a pinch, I think I might even be able to live in one. Do they still make such things? *swooshes off to Google*

This would be excellent for traveling around the country. Sure beats paying rent on an apartment when you won’t ever own it. You’d have to only have a few things or it could get crowded to live in. Would also work better for a single person to live in. I could live in something like this if I got rid of the extra ‘stuff’. Right now I am working on fixing up a camper and moving into that. It’s about 8 x 26 feet…

We have a 2002 Pleasureway and have lived in it up to 6 months while traveling around the U.S. Now we use it less and go only about 6 weeks at a time. It’s a wonderful way to travel. It has everything we need except a clothes washing machine which are available everyware at laundramatts.

I am in love with this van😍. It’s absolutely perfect in everything but the kitchen sink. It’s a bit small but hey you have a bathtub if necessary 😂. I am not sure if he bought it like that or made it himself but I would love one.
