Ok, so what is the downside of a bus? Insulation. Or more aptly, the lack thereof.

And let’s face it, in winter, in the UK, it’s cold everywhere… damned cold.

    Not for me.

Where is the bathroom in the design? Looking at the pictures, i can’t see where it could be.

from the link above to the photos, “A few metres away lies a purpose built wooden bath house, containing a flush toilet and a luxurious roll-top bath with shower above. A second wood-burner is installed for those chillier nights and the room comes complete with tea-light candles for the ultimate romantic bath experience.”

This is such a beautiful old bus to start with, but what you have done to the interior is absolutely fabulous. The use of what looks like aged wood, the placement of furniture and built-ins, and the colors and fabrics. It is beautiful! I think an unattached bath with a great covered walkway would be just the ticket. Think of the total privacy! Great job!

Are there any curtains? How hard would it be to plumb a sink and commode?

It’s been awhile since I’ve seen a place that I wanted to write about. This place is wonderful. Very nicely done and not crowded at all.

The place has wood burning stove, so the worry of winter weather is really not a concern. After all, in small places it heats up very quickly and stays warm.

    Lovely home and great job!!

    Does this bus actually drive?

  • June 14, 2016, 4:55 pm

The more I see these solutions and more I understand that the root of any dissatisfaction comes from conventional homes. For man he has a component of a free spirit, and as such should be indulgent. Then go around the world with a house like ” luggage” is really cheap, private and independent.
