Considering how long the winters last and how cold it gets each winter… I think the price wanted is way too high.

Believe it or not, I actually looked to see if I could qualify for the payments for this house. I like it! I like that it has land but is not totally secluded, and that you are still pretty near all the other beautiful Towns of Maine. The house is so cute with many possibilities, and there is another building site, too, so you’re really paying for the land for two homes with one already built. I think it’s a good deal.

I don’t think I would want my vacuum cleaner right next to the toilet, looks like poor judgement of use of space.

Hope that it is well insulated for its location and a ceiling fan would be good to distribute the heat and….what the heck are the white cylinders attached under the stair treads? Never saw anything like that before

It’s just a modular staircase, they’re typically are sold as a kit. Basically a space saving floating style staircase easy enough to assemble and install yourself with alternating treads that’s good for limited space applications like lofts, attics, etc.

The cylinders form the stair stringer and can be configured to fit the space. So can be straight, like this is, or curved, or even made into a spiral. Since, usually, each module is adjustable…

Lowe’s has the Arke Karina 9.25-ft Gray Modular Staircase Kit, for an example you can look up…
