Nice, but we all see to many over sized towable trailer homes. I know it is not popular to say trailer; but lets face it> They do not make code any place; except to park on someone else’s property; or a trailer park. Like to see more small homes on a foundation. Besides; it takes a big truck to tow that tiny house on wheels (mobile home trailer).

John, the wheels are to get around local city zoning codes. Here in SoCal, you are prohibited from living in something that small, no matter how well it is built. Also, your property taxes will go up. On wheels, this dwelling is simply a trailer.

      Best Regards,
      Jim

In my state there was a bill to, as one legislature put it, “get the wheels off of these” they wanted to lower the minimum square footage so people can build these on foundations, as long as they aren’t in three counties. I don’t think it went anywhere in the State legislature.

I love this! That couch looks like an extra sleeping space, looks very comfortable. I love the sliding barnwood-type door to the bathroom. Great attention to detail. Love the counters and the wood cutting board that says “Enjoy.” Wish the loft were just a little bigger.

Nice tiny house, I am amaze how they use tiles in the bathroom, I am always wandering if when they move it, it will have some cracks at the seams. Unless, it is frame adequately to prevent such moves.

Hmm that’s a great thought! I’ve heard of problems with drywall, but not before with tile. — Tiny House Talk Team

Cracking where tile was concerned used to be a problem in the beginning, but now they have compounds to mount the tiles that have a certain amount of elasticity to them and so the problem no longer exists as long as you use the correct materials.

My kind of home. Very nice. Love the blue decor. While blue generally is considered to be a cold color, in this instance with the flooring of a darker color, it comes across as a balance between warm and warm. Cool in the summer and warmer in the winter. Very nice setting as well.

If I were to purchase one, there would be some minor changes that I would like to see incorporated such as a handrail going up to the loft areas. And a few more shelves or built-in book case in the living room area.

    Natalie,

I’m a TV news reporter at a small station that covers Northern Lancaster County. We would love to include a spot in our program for this Tiny Home in Lititz since it is in our coverage area. Could you connect me with someone I could talk to about this?

Just love this Lititz version of a farmhouse! It’s beautifully done!?

I like this very much except for the open shelving and the bathroom door. If you move your THOW, you have to pack everything away, otherwise it comes flying off the shelves, or gets covered with dust.
I’d change out the bathroom door to two, white, louvered, French-style doors; much more attractive than this cow-barn door.

This is so pleasing. I love the efficiency of the layout, the comfortable seating, the detail of the kitchen shelves, sink, and barn-style door…., and STAIRS!!! Hits all the right notes. And I’ve got to say the price looks good. Thanks for showing this beauty.

“Just a trailer.” And no property tax. But if you can afford a 50k thow maybe you SHOULD pay some tax like everyone else. I guess if someone has the acerage he can place (?) how many of these on his property?

Having 50,000 does not mean someone has a lot of money to burn. Plus tax on land still being paid., and need insurance for the TH.
Tiny houses are built much better than a mobile home so I disagree with that comparison.

This TH is very well thought out. I also love the barn sliding door to the bathroom. Very roomy also! I’d love to move right in. lol

I love everything about this place, which is unusual… even the colour choices are excellent. Just two things: first, there doesn’t appear to be any clothes closet space and appears may be difficult to build one into the loft, the space is kind of tight; and, as much as the exterior colours are good, the building looks like a box, which is not uncommon with these builds but certainly not necessary as we have seen some that are so charming. I suppose these are things that can be customized if one purchased it, and the price seems very reasonable. All in all, I really like this one.

Every time I see this home, it reinforces the fact that it’s one of my favorites shown here. I think the main thing is, I like that the exterior looks more like a standard home. Very nice job!

This is still my favorite color scheme: white walls with wood accents plus any preferred color to set them off. I especially like what I can see of the headboard. It helps to only have one loft; it lets in so much light. And agree the exterior is very pleasing.

    • Natalie

Yes I’m a big fan of this scheme as well. It really works.
