Meet the “Lilla Rustica,” a tiny treehouse in Vermont with gorgeous mountain views. The best part? You don’t have to climb a ton of steps to get inside — there’s a nice sloped bridge that takes you from property and into the treehouse.
Inside there’s both a cozy downstairs bed nook, and a loft bed for the more adventurous. You can enjoy a cozy propane fireplace on cooler nights, and drink coffee on the back porch with breathtaking views. The whole thing was built by the now-more-famous “Tree House Guys” who ended up featured later on DIY Network.

99% perfect, I would just have to add a shower somewhere, perhaps under the house with a ladder using a trap door so you didn’t go outside after showering and a black barrel to heat the water.
Watched all their shows.
Love the ramp rather than stairs! (I’m 75 y/o) and the coffee table.
I’ve always wondered, though, how the …. do you make a bed with no room around it?!
There’s various options to make a bed that you may only be able to access from one side, or angle, such as corner beds or loft beds. They range from just getting on top and working your way from one side out and then pulling it taut to fully automated systems that do it for you…
Of the easier options there’s complete mattress covers that simply zip up like a sleeping bag but it covers the whole bed and conforms to it… You can add elastic straps that hold it in place as you work from the other end and/or you can add a pulley system that lets you pull the sheets and blankets into position from one side… There’s beds that can tilt out to give you full access from one side and the aforementioned automated systems that will make the bed for you at a push of a button or even automatically after you leave the bed that work with motorized pulley system…
If you get on top and fix it from one side to the other, you can just tuck everything under the mattress on one end and pull it taut from the other… Among a few other ways people may want to handle it… Like putting the bed on wheels so you can pull the whole thing out, make it, and then push it back into that corner, provided there’s enough room…
Haha much like me making my toddlers’ upper bunk! A lot of stretching and hopping and cursing….
Ok. This is in reply to the replies.
Stretching, reaching, crawling around to make a bed I understand, but when you are 75 y/o you cannot do that nor going outside to use the ‘facilities.’
Still, this is a really cute house for those who are able to do that.
Well, like mentioned in my reply, there are other (easier) options… Including beds that can make themselves for you…
