Lightweight Travel Trailer You Can Tow With Your Car: Roulottes ProLite (Canadian-Built)

This post contains affiliate links.

This is a lightweight travel trailer that you can tow with your car called the Roulottes ProLite. The company offers several models, many of them are under 2000 lbs, and even some under 1000 lbs, including the on I’m showing you here (the 12V), which weighs approximately 950 lbs.

If you’re looking to travel, adventure, and move about quite frequently with your tiny house on wheels, something like this might be a good option to consider. It’s slightly bigger than a teardrop camper, and much smaller than most tiny homes on wheels, which makes it ideal for frequent travel. What do you think of this travel trailer design? It’s approximately 13-ft. in length and weighs just under 1000 lbs. Learn more below.

No, it has storage but just doesn’t need a lot for its intended usage, which includes the point of keeping it light enough to easily tow even with a regular car and not needing a more powerful tow vehicle…

I’d give up the dinette for a toilet/shower, bigger kitchen and sit on the bed. Better do it yourself with epoxy/ plywood with the shape, layout of the Airstream Base Camp.

What an amazing compact kitchen unit! I do agree with the two foregoing comments: needs storage, and even a portable potty would be better than none. I haven’t visited the website, but maybe the manufacturer offers such things.

its great. light weight is a major thing if you have a car with a small engine. You can sleep in it and make coffee. love the kitchen, nice and small. Its for vacation, so there are a lot of things you don’t need and people purchasing one this small are usually not into dragging along a lot of stuff. great little trailer for travelling and not dragging along a huge trailer which causes you to use a lot of case.
Most campsites have showers, so your trailer doesn’t really need one and if you don’t want to do a mid night run outside, just take along a port a pottie or use a bucket
