This is the Latibule off-grid tiny house on wheels by Modern Tiny Living.

The Latibule is a spectacular custom build for our customer, Coleman. It is on the highest end of our 20 ft. models, as the Latibule is a fully solar, off the grid home. Not only that, but we custom built the Latibule’s beautiful glass garage door to let in spectacular natural light, as well as fresh air should the owner wish! The garage door’s diamond plated steel covering folds down into a quaint deck, just begging for music, friends, and stories to be shared.

While I like it, it seems I have more space in my 10×16 without a loft.
Still don’t understand why so many TH waste money, space on a loft when few ever get used or used for long.

I agree with Jerry, lofts are expensive and leading to a terrible looking width to height ratio. Beside that they may be suitable for young folks but not for the elderly.
I like the fold up porch protecting french doors than under way and the bright interior.
However, the entrance door above the hitch is a waist of space and without a porch above the hitch not very practical. Putting kitchen or bathroom or a sofa would a benefit for the floor plan.

Coleman (who the home was built for) looks younger. But I think downstairs living arrangements are awesome 🙂

I like the bright light and the natural wood edge. There seems to be little storage and the shelving too high. I would be concerned about the safety of using pipe versus more solid steps for better footing and leave it to me to bang into a hard pipe! I really like the clever
    cover to deck idea.

Haha oh I’m sure I’d knock my shin on those pipes too! 🙂 Coleman (the guy who commissioned and bought the home) must have liked the aesthetic!

Please consider another decoration other than our USA Flag for your Toilet room…I have given 2 Uncles and a precious brother for that Flag…
To all our Tiny house Vets, Thank You for your service!
We may not agree with everything our contry does but we will all agree, she is the land of the Free home of the brave!

Beach Girl: I am sorry for your family’s loss, but I don’t think many would agree the USA is ‘the land of the Free home of the brave!”. In fact, that is why Colin Kaepernick has refused to stand for the national anthem. The third verse litterly celebrates the murder of African Americans and other slaves along with the mercenaries fighting in the battle. The song celebrates the ‘land of the Free” (for white men only).

This may not be the proper venue to explain the issue, but the ‘land of the free and home of the brave” was not written with the meaning people now interpret it to be. I don’t understand why citizens have not rallied around Colin Kaepernick and supported his position. Especially minorities, Blacks and the media to change the National Anthem.

Because right now, in the USA Blacks are still underpaid, undereducated, underpriviledged, and have greater numbers in poverty. Their America is not “the land of the free” nor the land of equal opportunity.

I live in an 8 x 18 tiny home. I started out without the loft but added one due to the additional comfort and flexibility. I use a 70 degree ladder with 2×4 treads to help when barefoot. I’m 55 and the only problem I have with the loft at this point in time is having to get up in the middle of the night to pee…lol.

I really like it for a young person (as in able to climb around easily😅) but I did not see a fresh water tank listed so how can it be off grid?

Owner probably has it separate from the house… Could be a well on the property, a nearby river, or rain catchment setup…

It only needs to be inside if the owner plans on moving regularly but life on a property gives more options…

The owner could also just add a tank later… These houses are sometimes finished off by the owner. So how they’re delivered won’t always show everything that will be in it in the end…

I don’t have any complaints with lofts and I am 57 with a few health problems. I think this house is wonderful but I did not see a listing for a fresh water tank? Doesn’t it need one to be off grid?

Nice….but can’t do lofts, and would need a nice comfy sofa to lounge on.😀

I like this house….and even at 65 I could be most happy in it lofts and all.

Beach Gal, my sincerist of sympathy to you. We are diminished at your loss. I totally agree with you at the inappropriateness of placing our flag in the bathroom.

That certain individuals can not move forward past a song from more than 200 years ago is sad indeed for them. I note that these are the same haters who preach the politics of division. Perhaps their hatred comes from their inability to move on in their own life, choosing to stay at home in the parent’s house at ago 30 and play video games.

Keeping in mind the context of the times, the British of that day openly sought to take back their former colonies by force. Stopping foreign flagged vessels on the high seas and expropriating the crews thereof into involuntary servitude…yes, slavery….to serve the Crown! Francis Scott Key lived in a time much different from today. Those who claim to know his mindset two centuries past, are deluding themselves. How silly of the deniers that they refuse to recognize that in the bloodiest war in American history, the Civil War, so many were maimed or killed to preserve the union and end slavery. That the self-serving Mr. Kaepernick fails to understand any of this is most regrettable.
