Lady Bug Out: Ford Transit Solo Female Van Life

This post contains affiliate links.

When Dee needed a home post-divorce, she chose this fantastic Ford Transit van which she turned into her “Lady Bug Out” house on wheels. She has her own space she can use for travelling, and she heads back to her 14-year-old son’s house when it’s her time to have him. That way he never has to move homes, but she gets to explore! What a great idea.

You’re going to love her tidy, well-organized space that manages to meet all of her needs and somehow still feel spacious!

I’ve seen this van build before. Loved it then, love it even more now. So many clever ideas, and a lovely, comfortable “homette” space. Some of your potty ideas actually changed my way of composting, so thanks for that! You certainly do have an amazing story and an indomitable spirit. God bless your travels!

‘Happened’ upon a YouTube video of your van life with LadyBug.
Saw episode where your wrist was injured.
Have you examined feasibility of mechanizing your bed set up?
Also, a suggestion to-do project for rainy days – knot tying. Can you add additional tarps outside van for additional heat, weather protection, in different seasons/situations?
    Just some random thoughts. ☺️
