Don’t like the idea of a toilet without a door. Needs to be enclosed so that opening a small window allows the offensive odours to dissipate outside. Given the pong from some of my number twos, well you’d agree if you experienced them.

Think the toilet has a white sliding door, can be glimpsed in one of the kitchen shots. Not sure what the raised area at the other end is for though. Sleeping? Office? Otherwise a nice design.

After a lot of to-ing and fro-ing on the manufacturers website and here I see yes, you are correct. Very hard to see though.

Raised end at the end is a bedroom and there is a sliding bed that pulls outwards underneath making 2 probably queen size beds there. See the 7th, 8th & 9th pictures down.

Karen already pointed out the sliding door but that’s a Separett Composting Toilet… So it’s actually vented and would send most of the odor outside automatically…

Just don’t run the bathroom vent at the same time…

This design is almost perfect. I say ‘almost’ because there is SO MUCH storage in the living and sleeping areas, but little to none in the kitchen. I get the minimalist theme in many tiny homes, but the kitchen is the room that has the most stuff and so many tiny homes have no cabinets or decent storage there.

Why does this have so little convenient storage in the kitchen? Where does the food go? That one little area designed for canned goods and mason jars? Where do the dishes go? The drawers are great but very inconvenient when you’re in the kitchen preparing a meal and you have to open drawers near the floor for everything you need.

    Otherwise, its beautiful.

Well, this is a custom builder… So the why is the owner, since it’s owner’s prerogative how it gets designed in a custom build…

It’s just something to understand that not everyone has the same priorities or needs. So everyone can have very different ideas of what’s ideal…

Like someone who hates to cook isn’t going to get the same type of kitchen as someone who loves to cook, for example…

Besides, there’s more to it than just those drawers… Like the peg board along the wall next to the fridge… The storage pull out steps beneath the kitchen… The open cabinet with adjustable shelves above the combo washer/dryer and wall mounted TV… The built in wall shelf racks… and that curtained under counter space… and there may be more that the owner will install themselves once they move in…

Wow. I love it. Could use ANYWHERE. But, since I live in Hawaii, if I was ordering one, I’d skip heater. And, maybe, if I was on a budget, the clothes washer thingy.

Bathroom door? Ha. Who needs it. I would use this Tiny Home for myself, exclusively, or share with my girlfriend. We always share a bathroom. No big deal. Curtain or some sort of bamboo thingy.

    This is a wonderful design.
