It’s so nice to see old buildings getting new life instead of being torn down. This stunning barn — built of stone some 500 years ago — is now home to an office space and upstairs guest apartment which you can book on Airbnb.
The studio has all stone walls and features a double bed, sitting area with Moroccan ottomans, and a wet bath with a luxurious shower and a flush toilet.
Outside you’ll find beautiful gardens and a patio area to enjoy.

Description:
Guest accommodation is on the first floor. It’s an open plan space with 3 defined areas for sleeping, sitting/TV and bathroom.
The bedroom includes a wonderfully comfortable superking sized bed, hanging space and a cupboard for clothes, and a piano!
The seating/TV area has two 2-seater sofas and two Moroccan pouffes. Guests have use of TV, Blu-ray player and a music system and can enjoy listening through the impressive 40 year old Quad speakers.
The bathroom is a wetroom with shower, basin and toilet. Towels are provided, however, to limit waste and reduce plastic use, we don’t provide shower gel, shampoo or conditioner. The walls and ceiling are black rubber…. this is so that they can be flexible and cope with any movement of the old building.
Guests have their own door into the property, leading to a staircase up to the living space. On the ground floor is an office which is used occasionally – guests don’t have access to this.

Simply exotic and beautiful.
Wow! This place is gorgeous! And so cozy. I love the stone walls, and how clever to use rubber on the shower walls–warm to the touch. The gardens are lovely. What a wonderful place this would be to visit!
I would love to live in a place like that. It’s beautiful. Look how thick those old walls are.
Right? So much history in this place!
