Nice! Are we floating to avoid finding land to place the house?

I’ve always liked the idea of living on water. More info would be great; can you provide us with a website, Alex, or did I miss it in the post?

Hi Elizabeth, this was a reader submitted post and that’s all the information we have right now. If I get any more info from him I’ll definitely update it and re-include the article in our newsletter: http://tinyhousenewsletter.com. Thanks for asking!

What we can see looks really cute! A few more photos, including the bathroom, would be interesting. I would worry about a floating house, as mosquitoes love me, but it’s an interesting option.

At least the occupants won’t have to worry about noisy neighbors…

I would love info on that heater – wood or gas? Brand? Where was it obtained? I LOVE this cabin, especially that ‘tea room’ at the end.

Does anybody know what the round thing on the flue pipe is?

That round thing is a Barometric damper

This is a great water home. It looks like there is a three bedroom “loft” set up — I wonder if his intent isn’t to use it as a fishing house — especially with the big fish on the wall. Until he has it all set up one will not know for sure — thanks to the person who included his contact information. The setup for beds intrigues me very interesting. Would be nice to see this when finished. Hey, houseboat for Seattle???! LOL

If I own that I would be living in it I would have solar panels and batteries that I would be totally off grid living on it . what more does a man need..? Put a toilet in it and just pooped right through a hole I mean poop never hurt nothing just put the toilet paper in a plastic bag for the top on it cuz poop and pee never hurt the river….. The boat I pulled it around with I would make sure it had an electric motor and some batteries and solar panels on it too so I wouldn’t need to stop for gas or anything I can grow my food on the roof with some planters up there and catch fish hell I might even have a little Pontoon that I pulled behind it with a chicken coop for fresh eggs and chickens LOL…..
