I do really like this tiny home! looks well thought out and crafted! The weight stated in the article states 37000 pounds. that sounds a bit heavy , even if there was a horse hiding in the closet. I suspect a typo , 3700 pounds would be more reasonable for a trailer this size 🙂

Paul, my thoughts exactly….no way 37K lbs. But it is a great looking place. Like the spartan appearence.

It really is great looking and the simple non cluttered appearance inside and out is great!

      Totally agree!

Very Vardoesque and practical. I think the towing ability would be terrific and the use of awning windows is great for rainy weather. Great wood accents on the exterior and notice the low entry point. It makes me rethink the perfect seniors getaway traveler. I imagine nice weather only use but still a great idea for 18′ utility trailer conversion. I would really like to see a whole framed Aluminum chassis and a bit of insulation but other than that perfect size and configuration. Might do a split bath with a cartridge system accessible from outside for using the utility trailer conversion and you would have to pick your driveway entrance and exits pretty closely. People spend a LOT more for a lot less class and probably would get less use than this unit does.

Well done! I know how heavy duty Horse trailers are so it is ideal and with the extension, you made good use of space and had good taste with the interior! Best/Roy

This is really cool! I love the decor, and all the wood. It looks comfy, too.

The toilet is to the right of the bed, right behind that little half wall and right at the foot of the bed. Honestly the biggest flaw in this design for me.

Yes! You can spend a lot more of a factory built RV that would prob need repairs after a few months and they dont look as nice as this one.

Love what you have done for this conversion! Simple and unique… It’s listed for sale at $15,000… Where is it located?

      Naples, Florida

When this horse trailer first went on the market 2 years ago, it was listed over $30,000 and was decked out in Gypsy decorations everywhere. I really mean A LOT OF GYPSY DECORATIONS IN EVERY NOOK AND CRANNY PLUS EVERYWHERE IN BETWEEN IN THIS TRAILER! When it looked like that, I just remember watching the listing price continuously go down since there was no buyers.

Obviously, the transformation the owners have done with redecorating the trailer is beautiful and so very tasteful! I can’t imagine it will be on the market long!

Different trailer. This is the same builder but they’ve put out several different conversions over the years, I actually follow their work pretty closely because they’re my favorite. Each of their builds is entirely unique, though they do tend to have two specific themes (rustic or vardo). Some of their homes *have* been resold however. Easiest way to notice a resale is to look at the location. This designer is an older gentleman that works out of Naples, Florida, if a resale hits the lists though it’ll be from someplace else. I saw one relisted all the way in Maine once.

They usually post about 3 of them at a time on various sites but their prices has indeed gone down a bit recently. You can see all of their current offerings by looking at their Tiny House Listings page, I think there are currently 3 of these smaller trailers and one large vardo type featuring a fuller bathroom currently on offer.

Would there be a way to add on a bathroom with shower, once the tiny house is relocated to a tiny house village in Orlando. It would need to be an add-on. I can pay cash for the tiny house.

You’d have to ask the seller, I’m afraid.

This particular seller currently has a larger horse trailer conversion available on Tiny House Listings that has a full bathroom with tub and soaker shower. Might be a better option than building a bathroom addition.

Sorry, I meant “soaker tub and compost toilet” not “tub and soaker shower” >_<

Love the Red/Black plaid; looks so good with all of the wood trim. Curious where he keeps all of the stuff on the shelves when it gets towed down the road.
