This is the story of Chris Strathy’s horse trailer tiny house project brought to you thanks to Deek over at RelaxShacks.com and his YouTube Channel.

You can also find Chris (aka the Capable Carpenter) over at The Capable Carpenter. Anyway, he bought this trailer for only $1,000 and spent approximately $10 on materials to turn it into a micro cabin on wheels. Pretty amazing, right? By the way, he’s in the process of building a little village of tiny homes.

This conversion, when finished, will be rented out in “Leigh Acres” in Huntsville, AL- a future tiny house rental village.

would like to see when it is finished. I like the tiny house he walked out of,would love to see the inside of that one.

I was disappointed to find it so short on words and photos. I always look twice in envy when I spot a horse trailer going down the road with a horse on board. And, so often I’ve imagined the seeming possibility of being able to transform a trailer into a living quarters! Not owning a home of your own has a way of making one dig deep for solutions. Somewhere there lies a solution! (I hope!)
