This is a 24′ 1977 Ford Camper that has been converted into a hobbit-tree-house inspired glamper motorhome called ‘The Griswald’.

It’s located in Marshall, NC (about 30 minutes North of Asheville). And, it’s actually for sale with an asking price of $98,000.

    Very nice and ideal for those who really like hobbit style living. I, personally, would lose the bath tub, the space could easily be better used, but I could easily see this would be ideal for many. Not sure where he’s hidden the toilet though, looks like it’s in the cab which doesn’t strike me as being very private. Otherwise a really good, different design.

      Picture 2… see the door, that is the entrance to the toilet.

    Pretty cool, artful, but for that amount of money he can keep it. No doubt enjoying it too much to part with it.

    I didn’t understand how the vehicle could safely travel down the road with the wheelbarrow sink popping through the exterior wall and extending out so far. But I clicked on the link and found that the house is not intended for travel, so now it makes more sense. He’s got some interesting and creative ideas.
