    Who wouldn’t love owning and living in this place; it looks like a surf- side palace. But the price! … oy Vey!

      Expensive area 🙁

    When I win the lottery, I want one. Oh, wait. I don’t play the lottery. Oh, well, then I’ll just have to enjoy the pictures.

      You never play the lottery… the lottery plays YOU! LOL

    I Love this housing solution, they are all nice, because they stimulate the creative talent that is hidden in every person. Trying to live outside the conventional schemes, the inevitable result is an explosion of creativity, and what is Creative is always Positive

    Ok…that barrel and wooden tub in the bathroom are must haves. The whole place is unique and absolutely beautiful, and I am sure it’s worth every penny they are asking. Thanks, Alex, for letting me see this delightful and lovely home even if it is not on my financial level. It’s fun to see how the other half live.

    @JJ Noir

    Methinks that Richard Vail has a solid bank of arrogance. Mebbe he just wants the good old days of having unpaid slaves. Well, given his comment anyways.

    Hobbit houseboat? I guess it’s a regular houseboat that self identifies as a hobbit. Why not…it is the left coast after all

      Yeah, but it ain’t in New Zealand, and we claim all rights to hobbits etc., due to producing the amazing movies about them. But, we’ll also give JRR Tolkein a little credit too eh! After all, he did do a little thing like write the stories in the first place.

      And, BTW, hobbits would never, ever live in a houseboat. Theys scared of water didn’t ya know???

    I love house boats and this one is no exception, but it’s price, is so high I could own a yacht for that and live where ever I want, where moving this house any where, would be nearly impossible, if possible at all….!

    Nice! Although I prefer to be in a boat or bathtub when I’m in water, not living on it. Still nice to look at!
