Do you remember David Rule’s tiny house that he started building last summer? Well, he finished it for a grand total of $15,000! And he documented the entire thing in a recap video below, which just might be the most entertaining tiny house video I’ve ever watched.
The end result is a completely off-grid home that he built all by himself, despite having no prior experience in any trade. He has a little wet bath, compact kitchenette, and upstairs there’s a cozy loft with a skylight. Grab a cup of coffee and enjoy his video below.

I remember this one from earlier. It’s quite a nice build. I love the roof design and the interior layout. It’s very pretty I side, too. There seems to be lots of tall space in the loft for moving around. You did a great job, and I think it’s the perfect size!
So David’s excellent adventure comes to a close! Pretty darned amazing. You exhausted me just showing all the intricate work that went into your creation. Your fabulous building skills aside, I have to admire all the research work that you had to have done to know what the devil you had to know about just to get going. The jigsaw components of the water system alone made me half crazy. And you had to understand it first. Can’t imagine the hours you spent off-screen collecting info on the how-to’s. Congratulations David – its fabulous!
