Outhouse, he has a solar shower and composting toilet set up…Also built himself an earth bag workshop. So he has more than just the cabin now…

Is there more on the outhouse toilet/shower and workshop? I’d like to see that setup. Thanks!

His youtube channel is his vlog, the linked video was from 3 years ago. So he’s posted a lot of updates since then that you can watch for what he’s been up to and additional info on what he’s done.

In the photo with the finger pointing to the water heater? Can you say more about this system.

I love the materials they used for the exterior/walls. The interior is very cozy and I think I could be comfortable there. It is inspirational for those who can spend a few more dollars to make some important modifications. I would definitely want an attached bathroom where that bathtub could be used along with the toilet and shower you say are in a separate outhouse. The loft would have been fabulous when I was young…I lived in a converted tile factory once in my 20’s with a loft and it was great…but I would now want to add a few more square feet in order to have the bed downstairs. Hide that water heater! 😉 Maybe put it in a small room alongside the washer/dryer. Ok. I admit I have taken it to a different level but charming/rustic and living away from a rat race lifestyle doesn’t have to mean living without basic conveniences. Again, I might feel differently if I was younger. Senior citizens have earned…and require…a little more comfort…well, that’s my opinion and I’m sticking with it! hee hee

I want to build one of these so badly, and after I get this litle house really finished (planning some updates), I want to use the left over logs on my son’s property (from logging a few acres) to try one of these houses. this one is very pretty and comfy inside. The loft seems to have lots of room, and it’s amazing the electricity, running hot water, and other amenitites he got in there. Pretty cool!

There’s nothing round about that house except for the logs in the walls.

Well, it’s not a sphere but it is more roundish than square…

Great cabin! Managed to get all the creature comforts into a small space. But, I would need a 1st floor sleeping space. I don’t think it would be difficult to do with this set up…

This is gorgeous in it’s simplicity. I love this! I wish I could get my husband on board with this lifestyle choice…..

A skylight would work well for lighting in the daytime.

A Murphy bed would work and not use up valuable lower level space during the day. Save the upstairs bed for guests.
