He Built Them This Whimsical Little Outhouse

This post contains affiliate links.

When his customers needed a little outhouse, he was there to build it for them.

This is a unique, quirky, whimsical, and little outhouse built by @k.knack (Instagram) somewhere on Salt Spring Island (BC, Canada). This is the same builder who built this awesome micro cabin with bump-out wings seen here. Looks to me like a very nice place to go potty. I would certainly enjoy it! Is that wrong to say? What do you think? How do you like it?

Its cute but would not pass the health department permits here- too small and no pit vent

Not an issue for composting as there would be no pit in that case… Modern outhouses don’t have to be the old traditional style anymore and can even be equipped with flush toilets or cassette/porta potty, etc… So people can opt to do them differently…

Looks great ! Way better than the shed style roof ones .Now is this a composting toilet or is there a
    pit underneath?

Finally some being built with some imagination today. They are all boring ugly boxes. Go buy a park model if this is what you want. They are not tiny houses.

No worries about going potty. I’m potty enough, just ask my wife! 😅

Any pot in a storm , I always say ( as long as there is toilet paper ) 🙂

It’s really cute and looks like it would be comfortable. The window is a great feature. I like how you step onto the floor platform before you go through the door—safer and easier than stepping right up and over a threshold.
