Hands On Tiny House Workshop w/ Deek: Putnam, CT

If you’re looking for a hands on tiny house workshop there’s no better way to learn while having fun than one of Derek “DEEK” Diedricksen’s workshops where you get to not only learn but gain experience with:

  • Salvage construction
  • Building decks
  • Working with pallets
  • Repairing windows
  • Building your own doors
  • Framing
  • Using power tools

And much more! Not to mention, you get to hang out and do all of this with a handful of other like minded tiny house people. If you ask me, there’s no better crowd of people to be around.

The event is May 1-3, 2015. Space is limited to 30 participants and since there’s still a chance for one of them to be you if you’re interested and able to make it to Putnam, Connecticut I wanted to make sure you knew about it first.

This will be a THREE DAY / 30+ Hours of Building Event! Plus there will be speakers, demos, field trips and much more fun!

When are you coming to Utah, I am transforming an old 1972 camp trailer into a tiny house and would love to attend a workshop, however CT is a “tiny” bit too far.

    Sincerely Waiting in UT

Do one in California Please! I am very handy “for a girl” but could really use some help in basic building/carpentry skills.
