$695 for a Handmade Micro Travel Trailer (For Sale)

This post contains affiliate links.

Here’s a one of a kind custom built micro travel trailer that you could use for camping or traveling. (SOLD)

It would work sort of like a teardrop camper, only it’s built like a micro cottage instead.

But in order to do that the new buyer would have to perform some renovations on it.

Because it was originally built for a parade and was later used to transport dogs.

Isn’t that special. I think I would leave it to transport dogs but as the man said, a substitute for a teardrop. Behind a 4-2 or smart car would draw attention…

Or is that a “for 2” (whatever)

Yup. And it can even be used for a small business too (and use fuel efficient Smart Car to tow it). Could be used for pool service, dog services, fitness instructors, etc. Or, to travel cross country in like a teardrop 🙂

A few nesting boxes and it would be a nice portable chicken coop. Or a portable dog house. To ‘cute’ to go camping in.

IF I had a place to park it here in LA up in Topanga, I’d buy it, raise the roof (push it up push it up-sorry I had to) and live in it while I pay off these damn college debts. Of course, I’d have to have an outside surrounding area, and a place to clean up, but I’ve lived in a van, and that looks much more comfortable to me…Not paying $13,000 a year for rent would make me much happier, though I would miss my kitchen.

A slide out induction outside cooktop (CA, remember) a single solar panel attached to a half-passive solar roof, and a deck extend on the tongue that could fold out would make a killer chill pad for a mountain hiding spot. Adjust the windows so you get good airflow, and park it on a oceanic viewpoint. Add a power cord, attach a Cripple Creek charger, and I would be able to charge my car at night. The ideas are endless…

Only the Lunchpack of Notre Dame could live in that… ; )

I think it would be nice for a massage table and supplies for say a student who is learning massage and does his/her internship in different locals around the city.

Camping is the only “house” use. Some of the other use ideas work too. Raising the bed on one side would allow some storage under in totes. Induction Cook top mentioned would be great. Solar panels on roof, batteries on tongue to power the one light you need and a small electronic heat source. (It’s too small for any cruel heat source safely) no flames in here! Think co2! And your laptop (work, play, entertainment) and cell phone. You could have a tiny sink with water jug. You could attach a tarp to the back to extend living space outdoors as well.
If not! You have a dog coop and a small utility trailer!

I’ve never been a fan of teardrops even though they are so well designed and meet so many needs. This design is an exceptional alternative that is instantly attractive. I love the double doors at the back and the spacious interior. Just looking at it my mind jumped into gear imagining all of the different ways the interior space could be configured for different occasions. This is an exceptionally good design and if I didn’t already own a vardo, I’d be making arrangements to purchase this. Thanks for sharing this. I’m going to take a copy of this posting and put it in my “Save” file for future reference.

Hate to critique an honest effort, but… to follow previous comment, ya raise the bed for under storage. Overall run some “V” down the trailer tongue for some more store and /or go shed roof (short side to front) for aero dynamics and gas savings, lose the shingles because of weight, maybe roll a skin o’ tin or aluminum over foam for roof… well the price is right, but me thinks my next move is to get a trailer frame and but this advice to work. Will send pics, peace

Look like a small shed kit on a trailer.
I would love to build a prefab shed that would fit on a trailer. A little bigger would be a must.
Has anyone seen something like what I’m looking for? I’d like to build it myself and a friend. Any comments, concerns, criticism?
